OK, I just called today, which is Friday mid-morning, and I was able to get through to their office staff with absolutely minimal wait time. I spoke to a lovely lady who was very helpful in scheduling the appointment to see Dr. Lee. I've found that offices tend to be less busy on Fridays an hour or two before lunch time.
I can’t say enough about Dr. Iris Lee and the care of her team. They performed an advanced ERCP procedure that had risks. No one else was willing to take on the surgery however after scheduling an appointment and talking to Dr. Lee it was apparent she cared. She scheduled a surgery immediately with her team and they took care of me less than a month later. This surgery has changed my life and I could not be more thankful. I highly recommend this office and who will be making sure family and friends know about the exceptional care.
Just like the others. Not sure if I was seeing a MD or a scheduler. Seeing Dr. Lee took like 2 weeks and now running into the third just trying to hear back from her Majesty, the scheduler. I was referred to Dr. Lee by a grear doctor and I believe in him and her but unless she does some action with her Majesty, Andrea, the scheduler. I am not able to wait any longer for such disgrace and disrepesct. Overall, No one answers or returns a phone call or replies to portal question. When calling the main gastro health number, they just give you the extension or transfer you and they have nothing else to help with. Too had, I hope this doctor and her team can understand that she deals with "patients" who seek help.
I HAD to cancel my appointment. I was on hold for 67 minutes. From previous attempts to call, I was ready to multi-task for as long as it took. From reading the 2 other comments, this practice REALLY doesn't care. Too bad.
Never answer the phone during the normal business hours. Waisted my time.
Both myself and my mother in law have been Dr. Iris Lee's patients. Mine was an EGD with acid reflux study. The study did not go well and the capsule was lodged in my esophagus. I contacted Dr. Lee multiple times and never received a follow-up from her. I fortunately already had a swallow study scheduled two weeks after the procedure. The radiologist called GANV immediately when he saw the device lodged in my throat. I was seen by a (great) GI physician on an emergency basis who performed another EGD. Dr. Lee only called me after everything was over 3 weeks later. Just recently, my mother in law had several tests with Dr. Lee who never followed up with her to notify her that she had tested positive for cancer - we had to reach out to the PA to get answers and the PA sent us to transplant. Still never heard from Dr. Lee. If I wasn't in the medical field, I wouldn't have known to follow-up or what to do. That's absolute negligence and terrible medicine.

The worst service ever doesn’t answer the phone, follow up with patients or even cares to check on them if they attempt to call her office after knowing that her patients were at ER. Sending scary message throughout the patient portal ( not everyone knows how to handle or understand it). Overall, all the educational history on her portfolio is bunch of nonsense if it doesn’t reflect on the way she treats and approach her patients.
I have been putting off seeing a specialist for a year, hoping that meds from my family doctor and a diet change would help my symptoms. The symptoms are maddening and potentially cause cancer if left untreated, so I finally scheduled a visit. There was a tiny snafu with scheduling, but the attention to detail and number of things I was told that I wouldn't know to ask about made me feel VERY much at ease about the procedures I am now scheduled for. Looking forward to answers, finally!
Met with Dr. Lee yesterday re possible malignant cysts in my pancreas as per a recent MRI. Dr. Lee did a thorough and excellent job of reviewing and analyzing my situation. She went at great lengths to make sure I understood everything about my condition and went on to explain, in detail, the possible treatments. Very pleased with the consultation and look forward, with confidence, to my upcoming treatment.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
