List of Joanna C Wyman's Reviews
Dr Joanna Wyman did my left ankle surgery in January 10th 2020, she amazing job on it.
Awesome, knowledgeable, kind and an excellent surgeon. She operated on my foot when others kept telling me to wear special shoes forever. Ugh. She really listened when I told her what my goals where and she made it happen. My foot looks great and more importantly after only a few weeks I’m walking without pain. I’m still healing but I’m thrilled with my results. Photos are before surgery and then two weeks after surgery. First week after surgery is tough but it gets better quickly.
Dr. Wyman worked with me to fix pain in my arches that I have had since I was a child. With her help (and lots of exercises) I could finally get back into running again and not dread days where I had to be on my feet, and it was a lot easier of a fix than I could ever imagine. I’m so grateful I went to her, she’s a real expert.
My wife and I tried for three days, made numerous calls and spent more than an hour in total on hold trying to speak to someone to reschedule my appointment. Literally impossible to speak to anyone there. I'll find a doctor who has a staff that at least answers the phone and/or returns calls.
I love Dr Wynman she listens. She extremely attentive and took care of my feet
I don't understand how there are bad reviews. My experience was excellent! Dr. Wyman was great! The procedure went smoothly and she was very informative and pleasant overall.
Dr. Wyman has been treating my ankle issues for the past 3 years. Always willing to listen and strategize about how to improve and what issues may have come up
I got the overall feeling of disinterest, both from the doctor and the administration. I have tendonitis from running and need new orthotics, as my old ones have worn out. The doctor barely examined me. She listened to my problem and then recommended orthotics with no examination. I explained to her that I have one leg longer than the other and needed a heel lift. She never asked to see me stand or walk. Perhaps Dr. Wyman is an excellent doctor in some aspects of podiatric medicine - I don't know. But if you are a runner who needs custom orthotics based on bio-mechanics, I would look elsewhere. The business office told my wife that our insurance does not cover orthotics, despite them never calling the insurance and my wife insisting that orthotics are covered. When we later called the insurance, they told us that orthotics are covered. The one positive aspect of my visit is that I was seen at the appointment time. I have since been to another podiatrist.
Dr. Wyman is the most negligent provider I've ever witnessed and should be stripped of her license for malpractice. Not only does she have zero compassion or regard for human life, but she also does NOT LISTEN to her patients. I was discharged from her care simply for ADVOCATING for myself which she falsely labeled as "failing to follow recommendations regarding conservative treatment." This could not be further from the truth. I followed her recommendations exactly (arch supports, anti-inflammatory meds, rest, icing). However, I continued to experience severe, debilitating pain and continually informed her that I was not improving from this therapy. I consulted another provider who looked at my MRI and informed me I needed to have surgery right away! Now, I no longer need arch supports, meds, or anything. The pain has gone away! What Dr. Wyman saw as nothing was in fact a medical issue requiring immediate intervention. Do not make the mistake of trusting her or her practice. She chose to throw me away just for communicating that I did not think the therapy was sufficient for the degree of my symptoms, and that is far from okay. I guess she thought I was undermining her authority or intelligence by suggesting I felt something more serious was going on. So, she discharged me at the moment I needed help. I hope by writing this others will think twice about trusting this terrible physician.
I appreciated her professionalism, knowledge and skill. She explained things thoroughly in term I could easily understand. I have recommended her to many.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
