Dr Apud helped a member of my family. He is very knowledgeable and can apply his knowledge to keep his patients working and a productive member of society. Funny to hear people bash him. Thinking for those people no one is able to help. They might need a stay in the hospital. But I will say if you or a member of your family needs help there is none better than Dr Apud. For the haters you can lead a horse to water but can't make them drink.

Dr. Apud cared for me for many years. He stabilized me after a serious hypomanic episode that led me to lose my job, and also weaned me off a harmful medication that had been prescribed by another doctor who didn't have the experience of Dr. Apud in managing medications. I appreciated the fact that he had a day job doing research on severely mentally ill patients but still made the time to translate that knowledge into care for other patients. More recently, he stepped in to help with pain management when my other doctor didn't know how to manage potential drug interactions. He stabilized my child after a traumatic event that almost resulted in them not being able to finish college. He also kept me grounded in dealing with their recovery process as a parent, while always strictly respecting their privacy. I recommended him to a friend who recently told me how much she respected him and has many times thanked me for the reference because of how he changed her son's life.

Dr. Apud treated a member of my family over a period of several years. I feel very fortunate that we found this brilliant doctor, after experiencing many doctors who were unable to help us. I have total respect for him, as he was very knowledgeable, experienced, thorough, and compassionate. I appreciated that he required the patient to take responsibility and commit to the healing process. I am grateful to this doctor, and will always have great respect for the way he helped with our complex problem when other doctors failed.

Very slow at responding to messages left for him took forever to send medical record releases had to follow up multiple times to have anything completed very little effort put in on his end. Paid 700$ total for 2 very short evaluations and dr. Apud was very callous to my situation seemed like he just wanted to collect fees and be done with me. Do not recommend his services.

Excuse my language that is not aligned with psychiatric terminology, but I have no other words to describe this man than “egotistical nut job”. We had maybe a handful of appointments. He spent the first FOUR doing an intake. I asked him why it took four days. He said “well it would’ve been easier if you gave me your records from past psychiatrists”. Same with medication, he demanded a list of things I’ve taken. Of course, I obliged- just needed to go fetch the list. Then he changes his mind and says I need to get it from a past doctor. I was so confused. He started calling me names like untrustworthy (I don’t even know him..). We agreed I’d just stop by the pharmacy and get a list. He suddenly FLIES off the handle with “I CANT WORK WITH YOU I CANT WORK WITH YOU YOURE DIFFICULT TO WORK WITH AND I WILL GO TELL YOUR DOCTOR!” Again, so confused. I was like “oh my gosh sir why are you yelling, I literally just agreed with you. Alright, you’ve got it wrong. I’M not working with *you*” He’s just the worst. I don’t think he can smile either. Maybe his face is stuck that way.

Dr. apud is a beyond terrible physician. First, his ego. He would not let me get a word in. Anything I said would go in one ear and out the other. He started making up lies. First saying he didn’t need past records and respected the fact that I didn’t want that- that I could relay everything to him myself, then changed things up saying he asked for records and I wasn’t giving them to him. He started calling me names. Untrustworthy among much else and I had no idea where they were coming from as I did nothing to him. All I did was agree with him but he would not let me talk. Then he started saying “this isn’t gonna work out”. Oh, and last time I met with him, he said I wasn’t following the treatment plan. We HAD no treatment plan! None! I only had a couple intake sessions with him, that’s it. I highly dislike this man and don’t think he should be practicing medicine.

Dr. Apud is very hard to relate to, as a young person. He is very smart but his appointments don’t feel as productive as I would like. My main problem, though, is with his secretary. If you’re going to a psychiatrist’s office this most likely means that you have a mental illness. This woman is a HORRIBLE person and does not know how to talk to patients. In the time I’ve been at the practice I’ve had two instances where this woman said something completely inappropriate. Not worth my time.

Dr. Apud saved my life. He diagnosed my illness, worked hard at finding the right medication to treat my illness. He listens to you, he cares about you. My many phone calls are returned the same day. Emergency calls are returned promptly. His staff is kind , professional ,makes every effort to accommodate you when you need a appointment. Thank you, Dr Apud

Dr. Apud is a wonderful physician who treats patients with respect, care, and thoughtfulness. He makes you at ease and listen to your concerns with sincere interest. He explains clearly what the potential issue might be and the actions that need to be taken to face the problem. I would have no reservations to recommend him to family and friends. I am certain that they will receive excellent care from Dr. Apud as I did on multiple occasions.

Dr. Apud treated a family member for depression for three years. The patient is now without episodes of depression for the last two years. Dr. Apud was knowledgeable, kind and supportive throughout the many years we knew him. He was attentive to patient's needs, easy to talk to and acted quickly when we called him. He is still calling us regularly to know how we are doing. God bless him.
