List of Karen R Maser's Reviews
Dr. Maser is a wonderful lady. She goes above and beyond to make sure her patient's are taking care of. She saved my life in so many medical ways that you can't even imagine. I trust her judge and advice. I am very grateful to have her as my doctor and I wouldn't want to see anyone else. Thank you for caring for me and everyone else that comes to your office Dr. Maser!!! I also love your staff!!! ...
I saw Dr.maser for years and just found out that she’s no longer doing ob care , so frustrating
Wonderful doctor and staff. Best of the best!
In these reviews, there are various complaints about wait times. They are accurate. If that metric is important in how you select medical professionals, then this is not the doctor for you.If it's more important to have exceptional and thorough medical care, then she's worth the wait. If she's delayed it's because a patient is experiencing a serious medical issue - and she's on top of it making sure they are getting the best care possible. I've been with Dr. Maser for over 10 years, and I'm with her because of the moments WHEN I AM THAT PATIENT - whether it was multiple c-sections or a hysterectomy - she was always there - spending as much time as I needed - with the hospital staff being extra attentive because they know she demands excellence. To me that's worth a few hours wait once a year when things are going well.
Dr Maser and her team are the best. I’ve delivered one child with her and had a miscarriage. My birth turned into a traumatic delivery and I was glad that Dr Maser was taking care of the both of us. She was constantly checking in to see how I was doing and healing. She is extremely professional and caring and goes out of her way to take care of her patients. I honestly don’t know what would’ve happened if I went to another doctor. She is a doctor you can fully trust. I felt so cared for by her through all of my experiences. She is blunt and honest, but it’s out of a heart that knows what’s best for her patients. I recently went through a miscarriage and was pretty distraught and she was extremely comforting… and so was her staff. It felt like family. I absolutely love this place and I know in the past people say the wait time is bad, but it’s not that way anymore. If you want a doctor who you can fully trust to make the best decisions while caring for you as a person and staff that is kind and supportive then go to this office. She gives her patients nothing but the best and refers them to no one but the best. I’m very thankful for Dr Maser.
Unfortunately, this doctor is routinely behind and our appointments end up being 2-3 hrs of waiting. Although she seems like a good doctor, the poor scheduling and lack of respect for patient time makes it hard to recommend this one.
After going round and round with my PCP and previous OB/GYN, I finally saw Dr. Maser. I knew in advance that I might have to wait so prepared for that reality. Dr. Maser took 30 minutes to meet with me in her office before my exam. She knew I had been in a waiting game with other results and took time to explain everything to me. She is straightforward, no-nonsense and extremely competent...you can tell caring for her patients is her calling. I am so relieved I found her.
Dr. Maser was a recommendation from a nurse that worked with her. She said she was the best OB she had worked with in her 20+ year career. Having been her patient for years now, I can tell you it's worth the small downside of the wait to see her. The decisions she has helped me make in regards to my healthcare (never pushy, very informative), the care in which she thinks through them, and the recommendations/referrals she provides to some of the other best doctors in the area for other needs, all sum up to being well worth any wait. Her staff are also the kindest and most professional I've experienced at a doctor's office. So yes, you will need to wait for your appointment but being healthy because you have an experienced, professional doctor and surgeon is worth it.
Being transparent, I’m a husband and father but have interacted with Dr. Maser and her staff a great deal. We sought her out when my wife got pregnant with our first as she is default high risk due to preexisting health conditions and she’s a very petite woman. The reviews stating there can be long waits are 100% correct. My wife and I have sat for hours (just my wife during COVID) and we’ll gladly keep waiting. Understand if you’re waiting she’s helping another woman or family in great need at that time. After seven months of bedrest, countless appointments, emergency room visits and scary events we will welcome our second son into the world in a couple weeks. I owe a great deal to Dr. Maser and her staff. The level of care that my wife and sons have received has been nothing short of phenomenal. She’s very blunt but cares deeply. Her staff is knowledgeable, professional and has been available to us at all hours. I couldn’t ask for more.
Poor service and complete lack of respect for patients' time spent waiting or getting a simple order. This team cannot handle the patients they have. Look elsewhere.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
