Laura A Cinski Md's Online Review Report Card

I wanted Dr. Miller/Cinski to be my neurologist when she was here in Hawaii, but she moved away to the mainland. I work as a therapist in the hospital that she used to consult, and I have 30 yrs of experience so I can tell you first-hand that she is one of the most thorough, compassionate, and well-versed practitioner that is a master of her craft. I saw the neurological patients that she worked with, I've read her notes, I've worked with the nurses, doctors and other therapists she's worked with and there is not one bad thing anyone has to say about her, plus, she really knows her stuff! I've met other neuro docs that took her place but there's only one Dr. Miller (as I've known her), and I've never met anyone that comes close to her caliber. She's way younger than me but taught me a lot of things that I use in my work on a daily basis. Really miss her.

Dr. Cinski is great. She has a good bedside manner, is very clear in explaining treatment options, and is very knowledgeable about headache disorders. Highly recommend!

Dr. Cinski is knowledgeable, proactive and her pleasant bedside manner doesn’t hurt. She provides practical solutions for her patients considering first their health and secondly their necessity to function in a normal week. Highly recommended.

Just like any other practice, getting past the scheduling is the hardest part...but once you're on the schedule....you're on. They are very rigid with being late, so be warned. If you are 15 minutes late they won't see you unless another patient happened to no-show. Just like my pain specialist in Boston, Dr. Cinski is very kind, which is pretty much medicine in and of itself. She is communicative and responsive. I won't take any stars off for the office staff, which she has no control over...but Inova...if you're reading this.... do better....do better with scheduling....attitude....just about everything with the front office

During my initial visit a few months ago, it was quickly obvious that Dr. Miller had a detailed level of understanding and plenty of pin point experience in treating my rather rare type of headache condition. After spending 41/2 years being treated by another Northern VA neurologist who did not have the experience with my condition that Dr. Miller has, I was fortunate to have been able to reach out, locate her, and have her agree to treat me.

She was very nice when I met her during my hospital stay. I didn't have a neurologist, so I asked if I could see her as a new patient. She was all aboard:) I called and her staff was very rude and told me " that was the hospitals request... Unfortunately, they don't know or control the doctors schedule. " I had to ask for a manager/supervisor, she explained that Michelle (team lead) was busy. I was then sent to Dr Millers office, even had them speak with DrMiller as I have a very complex case due to my previous cancer... She then pushed me to a nurse practitioner. I have faith in NP's,but not as a new patient... Follow up yes. They are limited in what they may do and I felt as if I needed the doctor herself as my biggest concern was going back to the hospital!!! I'll just choose someone else!!!

I have known Dr. Miller since 2003. She is knowledgeable, trustworthy, hardworking, kind, well respected by her peers and nursing staff, always an advocate for her patients, able to handle complex medical issues efficiently with excellent bedside manner. I highly recommend Dr. Laura Miller.

Dr. Miller was recommended by my GP and I am so happy with her. After my first appointment, I found out she was moving to a new location. I followed her to her new Ewa office even though it meant an additional half hour drive. She is worth it.

I think Dr. Miller is not only thorough and knowledgeable, she is also caring and compassionate. She would definitely still be my neurologist if I had not moved so far away.
