Leanne J Cha Md's Online Review Report Card

Dr. Leanne Cha is a terrific family physician. She is attentive, thoughtful, and she takes care of her patients. My parents, who are elderly, are not easy to deal with, and she patiently responds to their questions and to their aches and pains. She is also very responsive. We appreciate that our entire family can work with her to maintain our health.

I have seen many doctors but I like Dr Cha for a few good reasons. 1- She is knowledgeable. 2- She listen to you and cares. 3- She does not make multiple unnecessary appointment for you. 4- You don't spend too much time sitting in her office some doctors don't care about the time patients have to wait and they give more appointments than they can handle.

I set an appointment with this office through a network she is associated with, Privia, who accepts my insurance and offered her as an optional primary care Dr. When I arrived for the appointment, I was turned away because they were not sure if they accepted my insurance, even though the new patient form I filled out lists my insurance as accepted. I was told that they dont see what insurance I have, only the reason for my visit. Office seems unorganized and unaware of its contracts. Glad i was turned away. I would perfer a more organized office.

I moved to the area recently and wanted to find a primary care physician for my family. I saw Dr. Cha's very high ratings on zocdoc and made an appointment. As many reviews have noted, Dr. Cha is very patient and listens well. She provided information on the latest research to advise me on tests and screening to consider. She noticed I was sniffling and tactfully asked whether I had allergies and whether I was using medication to address it. When I told her I was, she provided a range of options of other medication to consider without ever being pushy. I'm very pleased that I can count on Dr. Cha as my doctor. She also have slots available at 8am, which is great for people who can't get leave in the middle of the day to see a doctor.

Dr. Cha is a rare gem. She has incredible bed side manners, takes her time, is a great listener and communicates well. These things you don't see often in today's health care. Dr. Cha is very easy to talk with and if you are up front and honest with her she will provide the right diagnosis and outstanding care! I highly recommend Dr. Cha as your provider. You will not be disappointed.

Dr. Leanne Cha, MD was my primary care for one year, and she could not diagnose me with anything while I had severe health problems. She does not even know the difference between shingles and Herpes. She is very friendly and sweet undoubted but she doesn't know much about the practice. As soon I changed my doctor they ran my lab test and found MANY sever health issues in my body including tumor. I requested Dr. Cha to run my lab test, she did that but told me everything is normal. Worst Dr!

Dr. Cha is an incredible health care provider. She ALWAYS listens carefully and I trust her judgment/decision making. She is super sweet and kind! I cannot recommend her enough. She's the best and the only one I trust with my health care needs!

Just had my first appointment with Dr. Cha this week. Have been having issues related to a tick bite and lyme related symptoms and she was very helpful in letting me know the recommended course of treatment and making sure I have the right medicine until my appointment with a specialist. She was insightful and helpful and seemed to genuinely care about following my treatment and making sure I have good follow-up care. Very glad to have her as my new primary care doctor.

Just moved to Northern Virginia and wanted a General Practitioner for myself and my husband's primary medical care. I've utilized Nurse Practioners in the past. With Dr. Cha, I feel like I'm benefiting from the medical expertise of a PhD who has a genuine patient-centered focus. Dr. Cha listens well, responds promptly to questions/calls/patient portal requests. When I hadn't replied to a note from her on the patient portal, she called me personally to follow up. Small, quiet office. Easy, free parking!!

I had an ingrown toenail that was causing me much pain and swelling. There was pus coming out from under the toenail. I was not able to get an appointment with a podiatrist for weeks. Dr. Cha had compassion on me removed the toenail for me. She did an excellent job.
