Dr Moores performed my Neurosugery in 2005 while we were both still in the Army after I found out I had a brain tumor the size of a golf ball behind my right eye. He was always straight-forward and curteous with me and my family/loved ones and made sure we were all well informed in every step of my surgery and recovery. Because of Dr. Moores, I am here today. Thanks Doc!

Dr. Moores was willing to provide neurosurgery to my child when others didn't care enough (he has a severe disability). Dr. Moores was kind and caring - and a great surgeon. He was able to get us to surgery within a week and we've already seen a big difference. Love Dr Moores!

I met Dr. Moores in 2018 when my son was first diagnosed with seizures and you can imagine how nervous, anxious, scared that appointment was. Dr. Moores and his college put me at ease and had such a warm welcoming attitude. They don’t make you feel lesser than and help you understand what is going on even if you aren’t in the medical field. I was told he is the best neurosurgeon in the business and I truly feel this is 100% accurate. My son and I thank you Dr. Moores and Peggy Vollstad, PA.

In March of 2019 I had a brain tumor and I needed surgery and my father looked for the best doctor and god sent us an angel by the name of Dr. Leon E. Moore’s. There’s not enough word of kindness to say about him so I put everything in one name angel that’s what Dr. Moore’s is. My parents and I love you and your a hero in my family! My daughter had spinal surgery with Dr. Moores and I couldn’t have wished for a better surgeon. His bedside manner and overall attitude was just so helpful at such a stressful time. He made my daughter feel as relaxed as possible and even earned some smiles! His staff is excellent as well! I hope you don’t need a pediatric neurosurgeon, but if you do you can rest assured your child is in good hands!

Dr. Moores did 2 of my childrens Arnold Chiari Malformation and Syringomyelia surgeries 19 years ago at Walter Reed. I can not express how amazing he was. He explained everything and his bedside manner was awesome. He is definitely a hero in our family.
