I am very grateful for Dr. Shenai's skill and compassion, who helped me through difficult times. I had a brain bleed that he treated, and it has now fully resolved. His office staff was also excellent. Highly recommend!

We are glad for the life saving help provided by Dr Shenai in handling the high risk aneurysm case. He educated us by laying out all the options and providing the valuable information patiently to make the right choice. He has been exceptional, caring and gifted neurosurgeon we needed at that time. We are thankful for his service and Highly recommend him.

When my dad had a major fall that caused lot of internal bleeding and required Craniotomy, Dr. Shenai helped our family understand the situation and was with us every step of the way towards recovery and rehab. He is not only a great physician but very empathetic and caring person. I highly recommend Dr. Shenai to anyone needing neurosurgical needs.

Dr. Mahesh Bhaskar has no heart, his treatment towards my husband and I was totally discriminatory, we waited a long time to be able to have this medical appointment and be able to find a treatment and understand my husband's illness but unfortunately the only thing we found was more doubts. The doctor did not take the time to listen to my concerns and doubts, much less tell me or explain what my husband has, what we could expect, and even less the treatment options. He limited himself to telling me repeatedly that we had to seek physical therapy and a pain doctor and that he could not give me any prognosis. I had to insist asking to explain to me in case this treatment doesn't help my husband what would be the next option tne he said a surgery, but again he didn't take the time to explain how invasive a surgery would be . I felt very disappointed and discriminated by how we where treated by this doctor towards us and he had no consideration for my husband who was and still in horrible pain.

I've never encountered a practice like this... Dr. Shenai himself may be good but the overall practice is bad. You have to deal with a lot of nonsense with this practice. From scheduling to setting up any pain management. I wasn't too fond of Dr. Shenai bedside manner either. Seemed withdrawn and distant. He's probably running through as many people as he can in the day. There's definitely better people to see in the area. This was the ER referral at Inova Springfield.

Disappointing. Dr. Shenai may be an excellent surgeon -- a skilled "technician" -- but he never visited his patient -- not even once after a lengthy 7-hour surgery -- to check on the patient's recovery and well being. He seems to lack any kind of caring gesture or even the merest interest in his patient. There was a gaggle of Dr. Shenai's assistants who would pop in and quickly pop out after a very cursory check with the patient. No words of encouragement nor even information from these assistants about what to expect in recovery and beyond. Dr. Shenai never returned the family's requests for a phone call to inform them of how the patient's surgery went and his prognosis. Three stars for his technical skills; zero stars for his lack of basic human caring and concern for his patient.

He performed to Deep Brain Stimulation surgeries for my right and left hand--a total of four surgeries in six months in 2018. I was awake during two of the surgeries so was able to learn how well he worked with the team of people in the operating room. He was in charge but did so in a calm and methodical way. The atmosphere was professional but relaxed. All four surgeries went well.

Dr Shenai and his team are absolutely fantastic!!!!! I had surgery for Chiari Malformation and decompression October 22, 2018. My symptoms developed quickly and I can’t believe in such a short time how well I’ve recovered. I’ve regained feeling in my feet, hands, arms and legs. No more vertigo. No more violent headaches. No more shooting pain in my body. No more cognitive issues. I feel truly blessed!!!!!

Excellent bed side mannaer, very knowledgable & skilled. He is anointed by God for the work he performs.

Great experience with Dr. Shenai and his whole staff.
