List of Mahmood Abedi's Reviews
I really appreciate that Dr. Abedi takes the time to be prepared for his patients. I really like working with him.
The infusion clinic workers are so awesome. Always so sweet & cheery & personable. It really makes the experience better
Very bright. An excellent listener. Dr. Abedi sees the big picture for a plan for your health care.
Horrible. I strongly advise anyone, for their sanity and health, avoid Dr. Abedi at all costs! Colonoscopy was rushed. His bedside manner was horrible. After the procedure, there was a diaper with crap on it on my lap. Who does this when a patient recovers from anesthesia? Get a 2nd opinion ASAP.
The best doctor.
Dr. Abedi has years of experience in his field. When he was at VCU/MCV in Richmond 20 years ago, he diagnosed my pancreatic divisum after 4 doctors I had visited, in as many years, gave me no answers. He's thorough, compassionate and dedicated to his field of study. I highly recommend him.
I needed a test before going back to Boston for treatment. He ask me the day and made it happen. I found him informative, and pleasant to deal with. I also was a new patient with a referral.
I called the after hours number because I was having a scary GI experience and he yelled at me for bothering him on a Friday night. I was already extremely upset and he made my experience a million times worse. I do not recommend this doctor to anyone! He is the most rude and unprofessional doctor I have met in my entire life!!!!
Spent 1 hour 40 mins waiting due to an emergency but staff failed to update me or tell me what was going on. Dr. didn't want to talk about it. He just wanted me to speak to the office manager about it.
Went to another Dr. first to have stone removed from bile duct. ERCP procedure was not successful. Referred to Dr Abedi. and stone was removed.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
