I’ve never been so distraught by a phone call in my life...I havent even had a chance to set foot in this office yet and was called today at 9:20 am by someone trying to convince me to cancel my appointment with Dr.Bryan or schedule it with someone else. The lady was rude starting from “hello” all the way up till the “goodbye” and even had the audacity to tell me that I can’t decide what I’m feeling, only the doctor can make that choice. Is that even rightful to suggest to a new oncoming patient? the only reason I maintained this appointment is because I want to make sure I’m heard and advocating for my health. As someone who works with healthcare clients regularly, I am thoroughly disappointed- SHE, whoever she was that I spoke with, is part of what’s wrong with our healthcare system. Do better.
Dr. Simsarian and his team are a fantastic group of people. His depth of knowledge, professionalism, bedside manner, and personality are fantastic. His staff is personable and equally professional. They have made it so much easier for me to deal with my situation.
I will never use this firm again. The office manager was yelling across the reception area because i forgot my wallet last week. I have been going there for over 7 years. "Don forget your wallet again", she repeated it like i was a slow person. She made sure everyone in the area heard. Then she handed me payment requests even though i told her i forgot my wallet. Good doctors but very bad manager. I am never going back again. I will report to relevant authorities. my copay is $15 and i am fully paid but that woman treated me like i was stealing. This is a doctor's office not a salvage yard.
Waiting for one hours to see Doctor with special 15 year old child . 1.30 conformed appointmen.. now it's 2.45. Still wating for Doctor.
Why?! And run! I felt like I was being punked. I'm joking to make light of an unbelievable experience but am so serious. Here is why...Anyone who is a patient of a neurologist clearly has a health situation that probably warrants some sort of kindness and care from the staff. I don't believe this practice got the memo.As soon as I walked up to sign in I was greeted with horrible bedside manners from not only who I assume is the office manager but also the doctor. I was on time left my paperwork in my car. Went back to grab the paperwork and could not have been more than 5 minutes past my appointment time. As I am checking in with the very nice receptionist Dr. Seestedt yells from across the office "she's late so she won't get her full time" in a rude and unprofessional manner in a room full of people. I was shell shocked so I asked the receptionist, clearly and loudly, if that was Dr. Seestedt (the Doctor I was scheduled with) and she replied yes.You could tell she was uneased. As I looked around at the other young ladies it appeared that they were all uneased...just in general. Like a shell shock energy. A lady who I can only assume was the office manager (tyrant) made mention that I should have been there 30 minutes before my appointment time. I explained that I completed all of my paperwork (to include uploading my insurance card and driver's license) on line the week before and was told I didn't need to come 30 minutes in advance. The receptionist was so sweet and tried her best to provide good customer service (that one gold star is for her). She asked for my insurance card and driver's license. I gave it to her to get through the process but was very confused as to why I had to provide that info after uploading it to their system. As I tried to put my cards away to move along in the office assembly line the office manager parted her lips and actually told me to hurry up. I couldn't believe it. Then she said you are late so you need to hurry up. She and I went back and forth I reminded her that I was only a few minutes late. She didn't care. The way they acted you would have thought I was 20 to 40 minutes late. Her last words to me were "you can reschedule". I almost walked out but it took me two months and over an hour drive to get there. I needed answers. I clutched my figurative pearls and kept my sunshine going.I move to the next crazy station of the assembly line process. This employee wasn't rude but was very cold. I don't believe there was a greeting nor eye contact. I was told how much my copay was, paid, then told to move on to the next station...the nurse. The nurse was nice enough but very rushed. She took my vitals in a record 2 minutes. My head was spinning this experience was so bizarre and mind boggling. And I was there for head issues! Crazy.Dr. Seestedt came in. By this time he was a little more nice and approachable. However, he didn't really tell me much. I was thrown off from my initial interaction with the practice I couldn't even get my mind together to discuss my issues properly. He gave me a basic diagnosis. He seems competent enough but I will never see him again and am going to another neurologist for a second opinion. Bottom line the Energy for this practice is low vibing. They lack sympathy and empathy for their patients. Just from an observational standpoint it looks like the young ladies working there aren't happy and can't make any false moves or else. The office manager is ridiculous. My "Why?!" is a genuine why work in a care giving profession when you just do not care?My "run" is for YOU, the reader of reviews. Don't make the same mistake I did. Don't give them the benefit of doubt and think they may have gotten better. No...you have to give two f's to make a change. So it's a gamble for you. I say run for it and find another practice. I guarantee you these other reviews are are right on par and probably kinder than this practice deserves. I can't even properly translate the negative interaction. They need to do better. I hardly ever leave negative reviews but this was an appalling experience. Who treats sick patients with such disregard...unbelievable.
Best of luck trying to get someone to answer the phone, return your call, followup or follow through, show any concern. Unfortunately your staff will continue to be the downfall of your operation. Great doctors don’t keep return patients, a great staff does.
I had a virtual appointment with Dr. Churchill. He was thirty minutes late and rude throughout the call. He was dismissive of my medical condition and tried gaslighting me, apparently not reading my medical records confirming diagnosis. He didn't take the time to listen.
I saw Dr. Monti in December for severe numbness on the left side of my face and associated issues. My MRI was normal. Although he performed the perfunctory exams, e.g., eye movement, etc., he rolled his eyes several times during the question and answer dialogue. I was in utter disbelief, and tried very hard to not get up and walk out, thinking that I must be mistaken, this can't be happening to me. I felt a total lack of respect, and that as a person I had very little value in Dr. Monti's eyes. My issues have not diminished in any way, but I feel too humiliated and unserved to return to this practice.
Good luck trying to make an appointment on the phone. I was on the phone for over 15 minutes and finally hung up because nobody answered. I'm also being told that my insurance is a high deductible plan and because of that they are going to bill me up front. Nobody has ever done this before. Normally you bill the insurance and then the insurance bills the patient.
Customer service and online portal are really horrible. I was recommended here by another doctor as a referral. I had to call in to make an appointment. The customer service representative was extremely rude and unprofessional, commenting on my reason for coming in- "WOW! That's bad." Representative did not speak clearly and took 20 minutes to ask for all of my information for my appointment- all first appointments are online consultation. She said she was creating a profile for me and filling in my information (insurance, reason for coming in, referring doctor, etc.). The online platform asks the exact same thing and requires that you fill it in at least 24 hrs in advance. Not to mention, the profile the customer service representative made for me spelled my name wrong.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
