List of Padmaja Kolachana's Reviews
Impossible to get a call back on test results. Is understaffed and answering service answers all calls for days at a time. Is not posting test results on the patient portal for WEEKS.
The worst nephrologist I have seen. First of all you can never get through to her office the answering service always answers. And she has no compassion for her patients. She is willing to let her patients go with out medication for several days. You have to practically threaten them to get a refill. I suggest finding a different doctor instead of this one.
Poor customer response, we had appointment for 4 PM Dr.Kolachna and because of traffic reached at 4.10 PM and they told us to reschedule . We travelled for one hour to reach this facility. The staff was so rude they were not ready to listen and we requested to speak to Doctor and they never did that. one of the worst experience of life. This is totally unethical practice, probably they were overbooked and were just looking for excuse to reschedule/cancel the appointment. We requested them that Doctor is suppose to assign 30 to 45 minutes for our consultation and the can cut on our consultation time but let us at least speak to Doctor. They were rude and mean.. This is my first review about a medical practice in my life, please never go to such horrible office.
In the hospital her orders were punitive and nearly killed me. She is a quack. Even though I was excreting 6 liters of urine a day she put me on severe liquid restriction. My kidney function worsened as a result of this and I was so parched that when they did give me water I choked and they thought I was aspirating water and would not give me food. She is a quack and a dangerous quack at that. ...
The doctor was nice but I feel that I'm back to square one again. She says that my kidney is normal with the bloodwork count but where did she get the information from? It wasn't from me? My primary care physician only checked couple things but not the kidney, my urlogosit never requested bloodwork. I did not realize until later about what the doctor said to me. Did she have someone else records? This was my first and last time going to this doctor. I felt like she rush me as a new patient. After I told her that my primary care, allergist and urlogosit referred me to see a nephrology.
Cannot say enough good things about this doctor. I am a member of the health care field and I so wish more doctors were like Dr K. She is very through and listened carefully to my concerns. She made a 6 months plan of care for me. Small but significant changes in medications made all the difference in my health.
Dr. K has been my physician for over 15 years, both as my primary care and as a specialist to treat my hypertension, diabetes, obesity and many other complications that arose due to my life style. She is extremely judicious with medication to strike a balance when presented with multiple scenarios, particularly in my case. Dr. K is very attentive, spends a whole lot of time to offer comforting guidance to cope with changing quality of life and my advanced age. To sum it up, Dr. K has more than 20 years of experience helping patient population both as internal medicine physician and also as as Specialist, Nephrologist. I wish her best from the bottom of my heart. May God bless her and her family for taking care of hundreds of patients and their families.
I thought she was nice at first. I barely see her and she told me a total different story about my kidneys after putting a young girl on dialysis ( I had know idea it will cost me my life) I can’t do anything anymore. And does she care... telling me ‘to hang in there’ Doctor if you could have educated me more about this dialysis I wouldn’t have signed the paper. Now I cant work go to school or have a healthy relationship.
Dr. Kay has been my Doctor for over 10 years. She is one of the best.
Very bad. not recommending her to anyone ever

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
