Dr. Modlinger is an excellent nephrologist. I have high blood pressure and have been taking high blood pressure medicines for decades. Dr. Modlinger is the first an only doctor who prescribed a combination of medicines that actually lowered my blood pressure to normal. And he did it the first time I saw him.

After I was seen by Dr. Modlinger in hospital he took time to call me at home and answer questions. Wow. This is the very first time I've felt a doctor take the time to call me directly to answer my concerns. Never happened in my life. I'm still amazed.

Dr. Modlinger has been my nephrologist for more than ten years. He is very caring and personable. He has done a great job at managing my condition. He listens to my questions and concerns and takes the time to explain the options.

Dr. Modlinger is very thorough, thoughtful, patient, and kind. I would recommend him to anyone. Not only did he make himself available at VHC, but he also practices in Fairfax, allowing easier access to refer a friend. He made me laugh quite a bit as well, so that didn't hurt!
