Doctor Blanco is an outstanding physician who cares about his patients. He is thorough, patient, and explains and responds to questions in a way anyone can understand. My family and I feel very fortunate to have Dr. Blanco as our primary care physician. His staff is professional, polite and goes out of their way to assist patients of Dr. Blanco. I would highly recommend Doctor Blanco to family and friends.

I took my father to see Dr. Blanco after getting a glowing reference from a case manager at Mt. Vernon rehab where my Dad was a patient. Our first appt with him was disappointing . Dr. Blanco sat at his computer and asked my father questions. He never so much as shook his hand or listened to his chest. One of our concerns was that his heart rate had been irregular and he had a history of A-fib. Could he be in A-fib again? did he need an ECG? Dr. Blanco's response was " Well, if he is there isn't a lot we are going to do about that" ??? He referenced that my father was on blood thinners and Betapace an antiarrythmic. A call later that day to his cardiologist confirmed that we shouldn't ignore an irregular heart rate and he was scheduled for a heart monitor. Inhis defense he does seem overwhelmed this location is chronically understaffed with physicians. This is not the and should not be the burden of the patient. This Docot and this office are both too rushed.
