List of Raymund S. Cuevo's Reviews
Best doctor I have ever seen. He is knowledgeable, patient, caring. He considers all aspects of ones care. I’m very lucky to have him as oncologist.
Dr, Cuevo is top notch. I have been seeing seeing him for my leukemia for about 20 years, most recently a few days ago after a 14 year hiatus. He remembered me and the details of my condition. He offered to look into some of my other conditions. He performed a thorough eveluation and spent a good deal of time with me discussing my overall condition. He is knowledgible, concerned, friendly, and a pleasure to have as a hematologist He is very happy in his new location, and treats his patients as individuals. He offers referrals when appropriate. His staff is very helpful and acomodating. He see patients on time and immediately strikes up a friendly relationship. I recommend him whole heartedly.
The service Dr. Raymund Cuevo's provided my mother was horrible when it mattered most. Calls went unanswered too many times to count. We pleaded with office staff and nurses for call backs and physically went to his office on several occasions in an effort to get attention and answers. When my mother received an important scan after months of treatment, we had to wheel her to Cuevo’s office and again plead with the head nurse to discuss result with Cuevo that day after Cuevo advised us to wait six days for an in-office appointment. He called to inform us treatment had not worked and time was short – information six days earlier is a lifetime when time is short. While I'm not suggesting malpractice, my family is overwhelmingly disappointed with Dr. Cuevo's very poor care. It's been a year and we feel just as strongly now as then. Cancer is devastating and we wish we had a doctor that was better equipped to care for our mother.
Dr. Raymond Cuevo has been my oncologist since I was first diagnosed with Stage 2 breast cancer in 2003. From the onset, Dr. Cuevo calmed my anxiety and fears and I fully trusted him to apply the best protocol for my breast cancer. He also has a calm and caring nature which I needed badly. Dr. Cuevo's staff is also very friendly, professional and efficient. Thank you Dr. Cuevo for your excellent service.
I've worked with Dr. Cuevo off and on for almost 20 years and quite literally owe him my life. When I first called his practice I was in the process of slowly bleeding to death (snowball effect) after a surgery, and my surgeon and the hematologist he sent me to weren't realizing how serious it was. Dr. Cuevo did and got me in for treatment just before I ended up needing an ambulance to get to the hospital. He checked up on me often while I was there. Also the nurses at the Fairfax Hospital Infusion Clinic at the time all loved him, that's always a good sign. Thankfully I haven't needed to see him often in the years since, but somehow when I do he manages to remember me each time.
I had a not good experience my first visit with another doctor in this practice who is now gone. I returned and saw Dr. Cuevo and he listen to me and was very sorry about my experience . He listens and goes out of his way to be sure you do understand. Says always to call if need to. The staff is always friendly and helpful. They will be moving to the new office at the old Mobil property that Fairfax Hosp. purchased. old patient & happy.
Dr Raymond Cuevo and his staff have been extremely helpful to me. I’ve consulted many oncology doctors since I was diagnosed with rectal cancer 6 years ago. I have not found one as knowledgeable, accommodating, and concerned as Dr. Cuevo Despite having a busy practice, I’m almost always able to schedule an appt. within a few days of my calling and receive a response to my email or phone questions often the same day. You gave me hope. You were always there for me. You are thee best. Thanks !!!
Dr Cuevo is great! He's thorough & efficient.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
