List of Richard Seestedt's Reviews
This was the worst doctor I’ve ever encountered. He was late to the appointment, was arrogant and condescending. For someone to go into this practice and be less than kind. He limited questions and did not have empathy in what was a family trying to understand a tough diagnosis. Don’t waste your time.
I met Dr. Seedstredt today, and I was positively overwhelmed with his thoroughness and his communication. I struggle with aphasia and communication, he was very patient with me. He had a lot of energy and was very engaged with our appointment. I felt listened to, and I feel that I have a plan. I really appreciate everything that he did, and I feel amazing now that he is my neurologist!
These people don't care about you, apparently. I waited 27 minutes to talk to them to make my first appointment, and once someone answered, before I could unmute my phone, they'd already hung up. I've never had a worse phone experience with a doctor in my life.
Dr. Richard Seestedt is a talented and experienced neurologist. I found him to be very attentive, empathetic, compassionate, thorough, and a competent specialist. He was recommended to me by two other specialists, so to me that indicates respect in the medical community. You are not going to see a neurologist to make friends; although I found him to be friendly. Office is very busy; lots of patients.
The most narcissistic, rude, condescending man I have ever met. He saw my daughter for a face to face visit followed with a virtual visit for a Concussion and left her bawling both times! No concern for her well being at all. Her PCP recommended we switch doctors immediately! He does not listen, he only speaks.
Dr. Seesttedt provided a very thorough analysis and shared his findings in an clear and informative manner. I would highly recommend Dr. Seesttedt.
Its unfortunate but I have to agree with all of those who mention arrogance, loud and obnoxious. He really is all of those things. Sitting in the waiting room on my first visit he came out and screamed next steps for testing and treatment of the person before me to the receptionist. (Not sure if it was a HIPAA violation but it sure felt like one) I said to myself, please don’t let that be my doctor. Sad to say it was. Once in the examination room it got worse, he treated me like I was stupid and laughed at the way I was attempting to manage the pain I was in though it worked better then his suggestion. Not sure why people like this choose professions that have the word care in them, but It's really sad.
Poor doctor, does not listen, is rude and condescending, and almost acts like he does not care if you get better. Not an asset for the Neurology Center of Fairfax.
Does not take care of patients. Poor listener, arrogant, and acts like he does not care about your health. Not an asset to Neurolgy Center of Fairfax.
Not a good doctor. Worst decision of my life not to see another doctor after my first visit. Other good doctors know there are problems with him. Is unprofessional, does not listen, is condescending. Insurance review of my case questioned quality of my neurological treatment.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
