His staff, too, are knowledgeable, professional, and kind (special thanks to Danielle and Gretchen). The office is also well organized--I had three appointments at different times of day and not once were they running late, even though plenty of patients were moving in and out, and I had plenty of time with Dr. Ahmed. When you're sick and in pain, it is so reassuring to know you're in competent, caring hands--hence the five stars.

Dr. Ahmed performed an outpatient surgery on me last month, and everything went great. He was recommended by my GP--they were classmates at Georgetown, if memory serves--and Dr. Ahmed just was a breeze to work with. I appreciate his combination of a friendly demeanor with a sense of humor, and I especially appreciated the fact that after surgery, I had only about one day of real down-time for recovery, I only felt like taking over-the-counter painkillers for a couple of days, and never took any prescription painkillers at all. Far exceeded my expectations.

I was very fortunate that my primary doctor recommended Dr. Ahmed for hernia surgery. He is an excellent communicator and fully explained the surgery and addressed all of my concerns in an easy to comprehend way. The surgery went very well and I was delighted with the medical care I received and the post surgery guidance. Dr. Ahmed's is a compassionate physician and he is also very professional, courteous and respectful as is his staff.

I needed Dr. Ahmed in a bad way and he was amazing. Extremely thoughtful, insightful, and even matched my humor as I tried to take my mind off of what needed to happen next. Highly reccomend.

Met Dr. Ahmed in 2015 when I was in very serious condition from an intestinal bleed out! He told me that he had cleared his schedule for me and explained what needed to be done and my options. He did an exemplary on that surgery and has performed three more surgeries for other problems through 2019. Have always found him and his staff to be patient,friendly, and extremely competent.

I just had surgery with Dr Ahmed. He is simply fantastic and his follow up was amazing. Great staff and his nurses outstanding. He went out of his way to help me in every way possible.

Dr. Ahmed removed my gallbladder. Could not have been a better experience. Answered all my questions and provided wonderful follow-up. Highly recommend.
