List of Robert Kurtzke's Reviews
Best of the Doctors I've had to deal with, just wish that he would be the only doctor that I had to deal with. The doctors in my area are half-wits.
He made me very uncomfortable
Great overall experience. Very personable and knowledgeable. Didn't rush through explanations. Extremely professional. Outstanding Dr and would highly recommend.
Dr. Kurtz is highly skilled in this speciality. He communicates clearly about the procedure, calming my concerns. He truly cares about the well-being of the patient. Sharon is an amazing assistant. Thank you both for your kind help.
Had a great experience. He was very personable and professional. Enjoyed our side conversation. Provided a detailed explanation of test results. Highly recommended.
I have been a patient of Dr. Kurtzke for 14 years after being diagnosed with radiculopathy. He has been very companionate and responsive to my medical needs over the years. Dr. Kurtzke’s specialty is the EMG procedure and there is no one better at it, or able to do it more painlessly. He also worked very closely with my spine surgeon as I have had to ACDF procedures over the years.
Dr Kurtzke has been my neurologist since 1995. He is an excellent diagnostician, a highly respected and experienced professional who puts 100% effort into the care of his patients. He is approachable and explains findings and results to his patients in a manner which they can understand. Dr Kurtzke has referred me to other physicians, as needed, with the same high-standards and expertise he exhibits. As a patient with complicated spinal issues, Dr Kurtzke has followed me with regular office visits, tests, and exams to make sure my condition is being evaluated and medications are being monitored. So deserving of all of the recognition and accolades awarded to Dr Robert Kurtzke.
My wife last saw him 6 years ago because she was having trouble walking. He conducted several tests that were inconclusive. Many doctors, tests, and six years later her condition is significantly worse and still undiagnosed. She called kurtzke's office to ask him if he could refer her to a neurologist specializing in Gillian-Barre or autoimmune diseases. His response, via an office assistant was that he has not seen her in years and he refused to be of assistance. FOR A SIMPLE REFERRAL! Where is the compassion, the humanity, the oath he took? What would her last visit have to do with anything? It's a simple question. Stay away from this doctor. He is heartless and a fine example of what is wrong with the medical industry in this country.
My wife saw kurtzke 6 years ago for testing. six years and many neurologist's later there is still no diagnosis. She is losing her ability to walk and has extreme pain. She contacted kurtzke's office yesterday to see if he could recommend a neurologist specializing in Guillen Barre syndrome or autoimmune diseases. His response was she is no longer his patient so no. Really? So former patient doesn't count WRT getting a reference? Where is his compassion? Humanity? Stay away from this doctor and the entire practice.
He is so thorough and has such a wonderful personality that you feel at ease. He is working with you and you know it. The best.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
