List of Robert R Hart's Reviews
After some frustrating back-and-forth with Dr. Hart's surgical scheduler, I finally got the procedure he'd recommended on Aug. 22. I couldn't get anyone to tell me when to come back for the post-surgery review I assumed I needed. Finally they sent me a message :working me in" on Saturday afternoon, Sept. 3. When I told them I'd be out of town for Labor Day weekend, they told me they had done me a big favor by giving me that time, and the next available is in December. That's when I decided to seek a new urologist. Dr. Hart is excellent, but I refuse to be dealt with in this way.
Had prostate cancer and a procedure, but after a few months (while on a long trip) the PSA went up. I panicked and tried to speak with him. It was IMPOSSIBLE. Not even through email. The staff wanted me to "make an appointment in person" which was of course impossible. I was under a lot of anguish and needed to have his opinion, but nobody really cared about me anymore.
Dr. Hart is a personable, and most importantly excellent urologist. His office staff is friendly and helpful. I recommend him strongly.
My husband is a recent patient of Dr. Hart. After a not-so-great experience with a previous practice, Dr. Hart and his entire practice have been nothing short of a much welcomed miracle. He is compassionate, listens intently, and is never hurried. Aside from my own personal doctor, I never thought I would ever view a "specialist" in such a wonderful light. Thank you so much, Dr. Hart, for helping ...
I visited Dr. Hart due to hematuria. Dr. Heart is a very competent and personable professional that i recommend highly. His office staff have also been very helpful.
Have been a patient of his for several years. I find him to be extremely knowledgeable and professional. He takes his time and answers questions. His staff is also extremely professional and responsive.
The initial visit for kidney stones was good. Dr. Hart told me to get an x-ray in a week and then see what that showed. I got the x-ray and called to check that the doctor received the x-ray; then nothing. It was about three weeks before someone from the office, not the doctor, finally called me with the results. No one even asked if I had pain from the kidney stones. Also none of my test results were posted on my electronic record so I had to hassle with the office to get a copy of my records.
Good Doctor - terrible staff! After 2 stays in the ER I waited 2 weeks for an appointment with Dr. Hart who had been my urologist for many years. Because I had not seen him the past 5 years (I had no reason to) I am now considered a new patient. This alone is BS! Dr. Hart knows my history, or so I hoped, and this is why I went out of my way to see him. I did not anticipate the horrible traffic and arrived 15 min late. The heartless receptionist did not let me see the Doctor - not even for a minute to hand him my file from the ER. She offered to reschedule but I declined. After over an hour stuck in traffic I was stressed out and they merciless turned me away! I will look for an urologist closer to home. Their loss - because I won’t refer anyone ever again.
I have been under Dr. Hart's care for about 5 years. He has demonstrated in many ways his expertise as a urinary specialist, both technically and through application of his many skills. He is a straight-forward, honest physician and is fully attuned to the medical, psychological, and social concerns of his patients. His bedside manner is warm and welcoming, and puts the patient at ease immediately. He is careful to explain all ramifications of a medical situation to ensure a full understanding by the patient. This makes the patient feel that he is an active participant in the treatment plan. Dr. Hart rightfully belongs in the book of legends in his field.
Dr Hart was OK but the staff are utterly incompetent. Impossible to get a live person on the phone. They do not refill prescriptions even after the doctor has told the staff to do so!!! The staff are incompetent. Avoid this practice. Everything seemed OK when I was there 6 days ago but no prescriptions were ever submitted to the pharmacy even after staff were told to do so. Staff do NOT return phone calls.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
