He is the best physician that I have ever known over all.He is smart and really cared about me when I met him.

When I first met Dr. Khandhar, I was taken aback by how young he looked. Within, twenty seconds, I totally forgot about his youth and was amazed at the professionalism and knowledge he was providing. I met him on a Tuesday after receiving the news two days earlier that the spot on my lung (found by an accidental CT scan for a different reason) was likely cancer. By the end of our 25 minutes together, he asked me ‘whether I’d like to schedule the surgery for tomorrow or Friday.’ Dr. Khandhar is extremely knowledgeable and skilled. But on top of that, he is the most gracious, funniest, warmest, incredibly easy-going dude you will ever meet. He worries about the cancer and lets you focus on living life. His credentials are impeccable and he has accomplished amazing things and saved countless lives over the past twenty years. Eleven years post-surgery, eleven years of watching my children grow up, I appreciate him even more. I’ve summited several high peaks across the nation and just recently completed a 110-mile backpacking trip through the Sangre de Cristo mountains in New Mexico. Who needs an extra lobe anyway? Lung capacity is better than ever and I will forever be grateful to this doctor for saving my life.

Today was my first visit. He made me feel like a person, not a commodity. Dr. Khandhar is real, thorough, pulls no punches, and cares about his patients going above and beyond.

Dr Khandhar is so patient and kind. He listened to the patient and answered every concern you had, explained everything you want to know or you don't even know. Doctor operated my father's lung surgery 8 months ago. The surgery did much longer than what originally expected due to scar tissue from previous radiation treatment. Doctor did long hours and made it through to the end. After surgery, doctor visited us in hospital and called daily to check my father's status. He monitored the progress carefully and adjusted the plan accordingly during my father's five days staying in hospital. He also answered my question promptly via text and eased my mind when I send him several picture of blood color after releasing from the hospital. I always want to write review for this doctor. If I could put more than five star, I would. He is a life saving doctor!

Surgery and follow up by Dr. Khandhar and his team (Christy) have been absolutely excellent. I could not have received any better care than I did.

This doctor is wonderful I have Lung cancer Dr. Khandar operated on my left lung got all the cancer.the he operated on my right one didn’t have cancer I got a pet scan and he didn’t get the surgery. The reason he missed it I have emphysema very bad and he didn’t see it.Dr. Khandar will operate again this month. My doctor took very good care of me. He gave me his cell number if I need him call. When I called him he answered. The office is wonderful, have a problem call even when they are off they will call back.
