List of Soloman Shah's Reviews
I cannot believe I allowed my husband to trust this man. The doctor refused to listen to me, the patient’s wife, and was so rude my husband actually stopped the doctor to point out that I had been speaking. I begged him to find a new doctor. At his last visit, my husband was told to change his diet, exercise, see his doctor about increasing his anxiety medication and come back in a month. Six weeks later, my husband was dead from a disease that would have been diagnosed had the doctor done a liver biopsy as I had requested.
I enjoyed my visit. Dr. Shah took the time to discuss my concerns and made me feel comfortable with my medical issues.
Dr. Shah did my colonoscopy at Stone Springs Hospital. He found a polyp, sending in for biopsy. I have chronic Diverticulitis and he gave me a whole read out on not only the results of my colonoscopy but good info on my upcoming colon surgery. He answered all my questions, strictly professional. Prior to my procedure, I saw some very odd reviews on him, and his rating seemed low. However, when I read the reviews, none of them pertained to his 20+ years of expertise in his field for which he should have all five-star reviews. Personally, I don't care if the front office was friendly or not, or parking was an issue, nor do I care about "bedside manner". I care that he knows what he is doing and does it well. He probably is excellent at what he does because he focuses on that and not having an outgoing "best bud" personality. Has more of a personality of an Academic and I am totally good with that. If you want an excellent gastroenterologist pick him, if you want a best bud, move on.
Overbooked every visit! The worst experience I’ve ever had. GO ELSEWHERE!!!
This doctor and his associates and their arrogant boss treated my son for nine months thinking he got Crohn’s disease; and because their diagnosis and treatment were wrong and did nothing to improve my son’s condition, he ended up in the surgery room, where they discovered he didn’t have Crohn’s disease and all he had was an inflamed appendix!!! I wonder why their boss is that arrogant!! I wish I meet him again to tell him what I think of him
Professional from arrival to departure. Explained issues in detail.
Highly recommend!
Dr. Shah is one of the best doctors. Very thorough, competent and takes his responsibilities seriously.
Wonderful doctor with impressive experience. He operated my mother in-law in an emergency case and the procedure went very well. Thank you doctor for your care and great performance. God bless you!
Excellent experience. My scheduled Dr. was called away suddenly, I was already prepped for the procedure and Dr. Shah agreed to do it. Came in and explained I could reschedule if I preferred. Two of the nurses had assured me before his arrival that he was very good so I agreed to proceed. Afterwards he came in and gave me a good, clear explanation of the results. He has a very nice manner and I was very happy with his service. Scheduling for the procedure was initially a problem, I missed a call by 2 minutes and could never get the individual to answer my dozen return calls and several voice mails. Finally I was contacted by Bri and she was very efficient and helpful. Scheduling and pre-op instructions were excellent after that.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
