We made an appointment (4) weeks ahead of time, at which point they confirmed coverage — at check in they informed us they won’t be honoring our appointment due to coverage issues. So disappointing, save your time and read other reviews confirming similar experiences.

Dr. Pournaras is the best of the best. My wife is Pre Op RN for Inova and former ICU Nurse; nurses know the best selection when it comes to complex surgery. My hands have been operated on 5 times for dupuytren's contracture going back 20 years in my life. I am a retired Army COL and my last surgery was with Bethesda Naval Hospital; they were great but not as good as Dr. Pournaras! He has an excellent PT group associated with his organization and are also fantastic. If you want an awesome result, Dr. Pournaras is your answer. Highly recommend!

Would give zero stars. Front desk receptionist is a joke. Too much attitude. They treat you like a pill seeking junkie when your in pain. Also Waited all day for this doctor at the surgery center. 10-6 pm. Ridiculous. Doctor seemed nice. Staff is horrible. This was not for myself but for my husband.

First time visiting the Office of Dr. Pounaras. I had the pleasure of meeting Physician Assistant Dr. David Park. Great service, I was treated with kindness and respect. You can see that Mr. Park really cares about his patients and their well-being. He took time to listen to my concerns and patiently explained the treatment to me. Dr. Pounaras must be very proud to have this excellent professional in his office

Surgery went very well Im very lucky to have had such an amazing doctor @Stephen W. Pournaras. Major surgery done took a bone from my pelvis and screwed into my scaphoid in wrist to connect the bone and shaved off the arthritis. 100% recommend this place . Great customer service

Someone mentioned they were delayed without explanation. My first surgery with Dr. P was delayed because a diabetic patient had not mentioned their condition until the morning of the surgery. Because of this several of our surgeries were delayed. We were fortunate there was an experienced (thoughtful and considerate) nurse who told us the reason and kept us informed. Dr. P. immediately apologized about the delay upon my arrival in the OR. I teased him that we were told he was partying to which he gave one of his quick quips! He's smart, quick thinking and knows his "stuff". He has all my votes, thumbs up! Hi, Dr. P.!
