I have met with Dr. Tescher on multiple occasions, both in person and by telemedicine. I found Dr Tescher to be an excellent communicator, very knowledgeable and easy to work with. He is neither pushy nor condescending, and Dr. Tescher takes the time to ensure you know the options based on the latest science and treatments.

Dr. Teacher was recommended to me by my Internist. When I asked if she could recommend a female doctor, she gave me the names and then stated that if she were making an appointment for one of her family members, she would choose Dr. Tescher. I started going to him in March 2020 and had to undergo surgery. He’s very thorough, personable, Professional, and very clear in describing my problem. I would definitely recommend him to other patients.

I have recently moved from NoVA and I’ll consider myself very lucky if I find a urologist as competent as Dr Tescher. When my primary practitioner referred me to him she called him a “doctor’s doctor”. He’s very thorough and also personable. He did no unnecessary testing on me. Having been rated by patients myself I had the rare negative review. They happen. This man is 5 stars.

So grateful for Dr. Tescher’s compassion and care during a very tough kidney stone. He went above and beyond to ensure I received solid care and pain control. He was always available and responsive to my questions and concerns. I would highly recommend his patient centered approach!

I've gone to Dr. Tescher for kidney stone problems. It was extremely easy to get an appointment, his office staff is excellent, and there was minimal waiting time in the office. Dr. Tescher listened to me, asked appropriate questions, and gave good advice. In one instance he had to operate to remove a kidney stone, and that procedure was coordinated effectively with my cardiologist. I would highly recommend Dr. Tescher.

Dr. Tescher has treated me for prostate, urethra, and bladder issues. His measured approach to each issue provided positive results at each step. Once medicine became less effective for treatment, he agreed that surgery was a valid approach and performed only the amount necessary in order to avoid unnecessary risk. The result has been amazing----a truly positive and life-changing event! I trust him, and I genuinely appreciate the work he has done over the years to increase my quality of life.
