List of Tonya L. Adams's Reviews
Dr. Adams and Emily Bravo NP both were actually very good, kind, and competent health providers. Unfortunately, the administrative side is a shambles. From trying to schedule appointments where phones were not answered and messages were not returned (or phones were answered but then I sat on hold upwards of 30 minutes at a time) to prep instructions which did not come and, when I received them after aggressively pursuing them, were both incomplete and inaccurate. Administratively, the worst experience I've ever had with a healthcare provider's office.
Dr. Adams did nothing for me when I was admitted to the hospital for a GP flare. She let me go home without the testing I needed or any treatment. It’s obvious she doesn’t care about her patients, but the whole practice is negligent.
Turrible doctah did not present herself in a manner that could be construed as "right".
I rarely can get in touch with Dr.Adams. I tried to schedule a colonoscopy and left 4 messages with the department with no response. I tried to contact Dr. Adams nurse a number of times and am told the mailbox is full. How does one get in touch with this practice?
Dr. Adams, is one of the best Doctor's I have had the Pleasure of being a Patient. Dr. Adams always explains what is going on with your body.
I have been on hold for over 2 hours yes 2 hrs I only have a question about medication. I could have driven the 45 miles to ask the question for as long as it takes for anyone to connect on the phone. . This is so unacceptable for a professional office. If I don’t get a call back today. I will have to drive to Fairoaks tomorrow. For those patients that work they can’t wait on hold for 2 hours This is Unbelievable
I'm not sure how the office is being ran, but they need a new office manager or someone to call or email about upcoming appointments. Had an appointment scheduled and never received a prior notification to let me know the time of the appointment or if I needed to arrive early. When I called, the rep said my appointment was scheduled for the following day which was also wrong. Can we get someone that knows what they are doing. I even checked MyChart and nothing indicating what time I was supposed to arrive for my procedure.
0/10 recommend this office 0/5 Stars Unless you care to be on hold for hours only to be transferred to the wrong department or to a voicemail so nothing will get accomplished other than receiving a bill for lack luster care (that's bein generous) This office DOES NOT CARE ABOUT YOUR HEALTH NOR WELL BEING. HER PRACTICE IS A COMPLETE JOKE. Dr. Tonya Adams and the office employees all need to take extensive training courses for proper professional etiquette in it entirety. Or seek a new profession that doesn't require effort. I will be reporting every single person to the proper entities.
Dr. Adams and her staff were wonderful! She was very kind and took the time to listen to my concerns and answered all of my questions. I definitely recommend her. 5 stars!!
I have a somewhat complicated health situation with a handful of providers involved. Dr. Adams has always taken as much time as she needs to fully understand my situation, help me ask the right questions, and ensure that my treatment is as good as it can be. She takes interest not just within her specialty but looks at surrounding issues to get a more complete picture, and recognizes when I may need to consult with someone else. She is eager to be part of a care team that can include people like nutritionists and others without an MD. This puts her right at the top of my list of favorite doctors.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
