Stay away from Dr. Goa!!! He's a young guy who doesn't have a clue, just following the book guidelines and hope all goes well!! I have been going to VA Heart for over ten years but am switching to another office they have hired so many young, flunkies I no longer have any trust in them! With an exercise program and Dr. McSwain's continuing efforts I have been out of a-fib for over two years!!! I get a hernia so I have to halt exercises until it gets repaired. I go to VA Heart for a clearance for my surgeon and Dr. Goa orders a "stress test!!!" Yes, a stress test!?!? The idea with a hernia is to take it easy until you get it repaired, and, get it repaired asap! So this guy orders a "stress test" and I have to wait weeks!?!!? My surgeon will not go around him and it will take as long switching to another heart office?? So avoid this guy and this office! They really have gone down hill and the heart is not a place to get bad service!!!!!

The staff is always pleasant and easy to deal with. Dr. Bention is careful and pleasant. Asks lots of questions and is genuinely interested in your answers.

Staff was professional and courteous. Wait time for Dr Sheifer was minimal. I have been a patient for 10+ years and have never left dissatisfied and more importantly not heard.

Love my doctor, but the administration process at this location is not good. Asked to arrive 30 minutes early for no apparent reason - if there’s an online patient portal, what would take more than 5 minutes to check in? Check out was HORRIBLE. Had to wait for four patients ahead of me. How is this safe during COVID? Waited 15 minutes just to check out (already made a co-pay on the way in).
