Abdul Wahab Md's Online Review Report Card

I visit Dr. Wahab frequently and he has always provided the best treatment options for my condition. I have went to him for kidney stones, as well as recommendations on dermatology treatment. He was able to diagnose the condition where other dermatologist were guessing. He knows the condition and was able to facilitate an appointment to one of the best dermatologists in Virginia. Wonderful physician with a real dedication to helping patients get the best level of treatment.

I have the displeasure of writing this review. Dr Wahab's staff is professional and reliable. Dr. Wahab the Internist will definitely serve well with those not in the market for a Primary Care physician that serves as your interface to other specialists if your complex versus traditionally ill (e.g. Traditional means otherwise healthy. Complex means your health is managed by other. specialists: hematology, cardiology). Wahab was my Internist but definitely not my Primary Care professional. So when Dr Wahab decided to focus on his specialty I thought great. But again no follow up, no calls providing results and no focus beyond the superficial. So here I am with a kidney infection active for at least three weeks. I paid for my CMB out of pocket out of worry. I showed the results to Dr Wahab who checked my blood and urine. I had to call to get results. The nurse provided basic function results. I am grateful that I visit my local Urgent Care. They found a serious kidney infection. They told me to follow up with my Nephrologist immediately. I have one kidney because I donated the other. I have yet to receive a return call from Dr Wahab. Today is Day 3. I've left messages sharing the Urgent Care data but there's been no response. It's like my kidney doesn't matter. I am incredibly disappointed.

This doctor took care of my elderly parents with professionalism and kindness. He literally saved my father’s life and guided him through years of dialysis until he fell and broke his hip. Cuyler and Grace Taylor’s family will never forget Dr. Wahab’s expertise and humanity. He is what every medical professional should strive to be. He will always have a place in our hearts and we feel blessed to have had our parents under his care.

When I am sick, I call him and he gets me fixed in reasonable time. This is a great doctor and extremely knowledgeable. Very dedicated to his patients and his practice. He helped my Grandmother and Grandfather tremendously!

Unfortunately, I have to give dr. Wahab one star because of his horrible office staff. They are absolutely the rudest bunch of angry women. They do not answer you when asking questions, they ignore you to watch television in the waiting area, the talk very loudly about inappropriate topics, and the another gentlemen runs around yelling and also makes inappropriate comments in front of staff and patients in the waiting room. The doctors are great, but the staff should all be fired and replaced as

I took my mother to him, Other Nephrologist had advised my mother that she needs Hemodialysis , He took care of her, My mother doing excellent no Hemodialysis for two years.

I have been with several doctors and he is the most Knowledgeable one. He is always on time and also works before 9am for his patients. His Staff is amazing. Especially Sophie, Rheena, and Nazreen. They are always eager to help and are always kind. I love the most about his office is that everyone always answers their phones. Also want to thank his billing department. This kind and tied up gentleman came out of his office and shown me exactly why I was billed. He told me that he would follow up with my insurance to see why my they were not paying. Within a few days he got back to me and told me it is all taken care of. I can not find a reason why I should not come to this office. I hope they get this review! Thank you.

Outstanding

The front desk staff is terrible and seems to be lazy! My mom's file was mistakenly sorted for the doctor. Luckily, I was there to clarify of the information and found that the doctor was holding another patient's document!!! The doctor is just so and so. He wants patient keeps coming back very often... There were 2 lab technicians were not professional in manner! They talked and teased each other as of no client existed! There were others who worked seriously and professional but I think they were a part-time staff.

This doctor gave my Grandmother and Grandfather tremendous level of care and with the grace of God many more years to spend with loved ones. He is truly gifted doctor and cares for his patients. His diagnosis has always been correct and gives much needed relief with prescriptions. When I personally am sick I try to go to him, and miraculously he manages to get me to feel better within reasonable time.
