Dr. Schmieg is outstanding in every way. She has an excellent bedside manner, she’s always willing to listen, and has extensive medical knowledge. She’s honest and if she needs another expert’s opinion, she doesn’t hesitate to recommend someone. I feel that Dr. Schmieg genuinely cares about each of her patients and wants the best for them. Something I really admire about her is that she practices what she preaches in her own life by exercising, eating healthy, and managing stress. Preventive care is key. Dr. Schmieg truly has a pleasant disposition and has the ability to make her patients feel at ease.

I just got off the phone with Dr. Schmieg and I am not sure I have had a more unpleasant interaction in my life. I am sick with covid and was hoping to get prescribed Paxlovid. She was the on-call doctor. She refused my request point blank and without listening to my concerns, told me my husband's doctor was not following medical guidelines for prescribing it for my husband, and would not let me get a word in edgewise. To say this doctor has a bad bedside manner would be an extreme understatement. I am not mad that she wouldn't prescribe the medicine (although given my risk factors I think she should have considered it) but I am furious about the way she treated me. I started the conversation in a very friendly manner (why wouldn't I) and she escalated into a full fledged argument as soon as I asked a question. I feel sorry for anyone who sees this doctor regularly. Please know that there are much better doctors out there. I hope Premiere Primary Care considers replacing her soon.

I would highly recommend Dr Schmieg. She genuinely cares for her patients and her practice. If I still lived in Nova she would be my first choice for a provider bar none.

Not a good practice for DOS clients, not understanding receptionists. During PCS season you forget your name not only about an appointment, (which I scheduled months in advance due to unavailability of other dates), nevertheless my mistake but $100 for a missed appointment seems like an overkill!

I've been seeing Dr. Schmieg for about five years and she's been excellent. I love the personal attention and the fact that she looks at you when you're talking to her (not taking notes in a computer). She has never made me feel silly for going in to ask about aches and pains and has treated me with respect and dignity.

Each visit to the office is pleasing, calm, and comfortable. The care provided by Dr. Schmieg and the rest of the staff is sincere and accommodative. It is a very relaxing and pleasant atmosphere throughout the entire office and lobby. I actually enjoy my experience when coming in for an appointment because everyone is so nice to me. My entire family see’s Schmieg and/or Bartram.

Dr. Schmieg is great. She is thorough, careful, and kind. I have been seeing her regularly for years and I don’t think she’s been wrong more than once, and that doesn’t really count because she sent me to specialist to confirm or deny her suspicions. If you want a doctor who really seems to care about you and knows their stuff, go with Dr. Schmieg. My only complaint is that she often runs late.

I have seen her for at least fifteen years. She has seen me and my kids.
