List of Annie Trucanh Do's Reviews
My experience with this office has been horrific and I do not recommend that anyone come here. Last month, I had a visit with my PCP about some health concerns I had. She referred me to this office. I made an appointment right away, and the earliest one open was almost 3 weeks out. Although this was a pretty urgent concern, I accepted the date. Part of this is because they said they accept my insurance, which has been an issue for me getting an OB appointment. Less than 24 hours before my appointment, I get a call that they need to reschedbecause the doctor scheduled a surmy appointment time. Annoying, but we rescheduled for today at 1:45 pm. I get a call today at 1pm that they actually don’t accept my insurance. When I’be already left work and I’m on my way to the appointment, now they don’t accept it. I express to the person on the phone that I’ve waited almost a month for this appointment and I confirmed the insurance is accepted. Im told that they’re going to go over the training with this individual who gave me the wrong information. To me, they sounded like the same person. But one month later, I get to start from square one because of the lack of professionalism of this office. It’s absolutely ridiculous, and this is why so many women are unable to keep up with regular OB appointments. If you’re reading this review and other negative ones, please don’t ignore them like I did. Save your time and energy and go somewhere else.
EDIT: Update after multiple visits... I was referred to Dr. Do to manage chronic, crippling pelvic pain that has forced me to leave my career and abandon many things I love to do. After several months of emphasizing this and feeling like this she understood and heard me, I am lost again. She has pushed me off onto someone else, like every other doctor before her. I am about to enter withdrawal from a medication I came to her for in the first place, and it took her months and multiple appointments where I cried over my pain for her to finally tell me that she will not be refilling my medications, does not have a suggestion for tapering me off of them, and insists it is now the problem of someone else. They got their money and checked off their checklists and Im not their problem anymore. Unfortunately, Im still my problem. and I cant do this anymore. I can't keep having this happen. This is so close to my final straw in this fight. Dr. Do is an actual blessing. I have spent over a decade in fear of OBGYN visits due to suffering from chronic pain that was often made worse by routine exams. It has been incredibly difficult finding doctors who validate that pain and recognize that chronic pain patients often require different care and attention. 5 years ago, I had a traumatic experience with an IUD insertion that left me in pain for several months and had me convinced that when it came time to remove the device, I would not be getting another one. I consulted with multiple doctors, and they all told me that the IUD was still my best option, and my primary referred me to Dr. Do to discuss my reproductive health further. I felt heard and seen from the moment we met, and she walked me through a detailed explanation of the pros and cons of what other doctors had mentioned could make the procedure easier to manage. I was still terrified to relive the experience I previously had, and Dr. Do saw that and did everything she could to reassure me that she would work with me for a pain-free experience. She encouraged me to bring my phone to play music and communicated to her staff that I would be calling with questions that they may not normally get regarding the procedure. There was a brief miscommunication between office staff, but she quickly made sure it was resolved. I could hardly believe it when I woke up the next day and felt 100% normal with ZERO cramping! I called my mom in near tears, because I had given up on ever having a fair experience at an OBGYNs office. it's been 2 weeks and I am still not experiencing any issues with my IUD and just had the first painless pap smear of my LIFE!!! I truly did not know it was possible. Additionally, after years of hospitals, it is incredibly comforting to have the same receptionists and nurses every time I come in or call. Having staff that knows their patients and are so kind is incredibly valuable for folks like myself with medical anxiety (and regarding the comments about the staff's language... these women all speak perfect English. an accent does not dictate someone's intelligence, nor ability to communicate. I have never once had an issue in my four visits so far with anyone not understanding me nor vice versa, and I see how valuable it is to this community to have bilingual staff! Kudos to you, staff of Premier OBGYN!) I am so thankful for Dr Do and look forward to finally getting some answers about my health and family planning with her in the years to come.
Dr. Annie Do was very kind to me. She took her time explaining things and was patient with me when I was asking so many questions when it was clear she was busy with other patients in the office. The front office staff was very professional and kind as well. Would highly recommend. Office visit: May, 2022
Annie Do is the worst and an unprofessional Dr. I have ever seen. My wife is still her patient and Annie Do cares about money way more than she cares about her patients. Her front desk staff barely speak English, have no freaking respect for patients, and don't care about the patient's time. Annie Do is never on time about seeing her patients in the office or sending the prescriptions to the pharmacy on time. I am so fed up taking my pregnant wife to go see Do and can't wait to get rid of her. We will never ever recommend any friend or family member to go see her. She doesn't even deserve a one-star rating.
Dr.Do is very sweet & answered all my questions without rushing me or seeming uncaring!
Double charges of $300. I already paid 06/2020, but they called back 2021/01 for another charge against the same service. For the first call for the refund, they ignored. I had to come to the office talking about that, waiting, then leaving. A while after I left, they called me back for it. So bad. Guys, look $300/ 1 visit. After that they recommended even more,. You will pay more that you expect.
Doctor ANNE T. She is horrible doctor always try to take money from patient and never care about their health. She is a doctor however she is a wicked. When you make appointments with her you have to wait at least 45 minutes She cares her time. She doesn’t care other people time. Even though She doesn’t against law. She against Human moral. DO NOT EVER TO SEE HER. I don’t even want to give her one start.
The worst experience ever! My second appointment with her was ultrasound. Front desk asked me to put my personal credit card into the system in case the insurance does not coverage it. I was not comfortable with it and refused to do it, then she asked me to put down $300 deposit. Again, I never experienced anything like that before so I refused to do none of that. She then went to doctor Annie Do and told her what just happened. Dr Do came out and brought me to the room to talk about the situation again. I got really frustrated when she said “some people did not want to take responsibility to pay after, that’s the reason why we got approved to ask people to put the credit card in the system or pay $300 deposit, plus your deductible is still high so I know for sure they won’t pay for it.” That made me as a patient feel like she judged me thinking I can’t afford the bill. She cares about the money more than the patient’s health. Then I refused to pay the deposit or give them my card so she ended up not doing my ultrasound. She told me she was running behind and there was another patient here for ultrasound so it’s not fair for her to do mine first and have the other waiting (but I made this appointment from 2 weeks for ultrasound and I was here on time for it). Then she told me if I wanted to do it I have to go outside and make another appointment and wait for her. At that point, I got really upset with the way she works so I just left. She is really unprofessional and never on time. She keep saying she cares about people health but her mouth keep mentioning money. Usually I don’t go to Vietnamese clinic but I got preferred from my family and wanted to support my community that’s why I came to her but so sad I had to experience the worst of her. If you are planing to visit this place make sure you ask and get all the details before paying for anything.
She is very friendly doctor. I had two time pregnancy experience with her and she always treat me like a sister. She always taking care of her patients even when the patients are admitted in the hospital. She always do visits to her patients in the hospital. I will strongly recommend this OBJYN. Very nice doctor.
I have been here several of times and had okay experiences. Dr. Do is very sweet and makes you feel comfortable, but she rushes and does not give enough attention to the concerns of her patients as needed. As for my recent appointment, I was supposed to have a prescription filled and as I arrived to my pharmacy they did not have any prescriptions on record. I have called the office 13 times and left two voicemails, as I do not reside in VA and have to leave today, I had to drive another hour out to visit the office for my prescription. I am highly disappointed in this facility and will not be returning. Trust these reviews.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
