Dr Banaszak was extremely professional, proficient, kind, informative and to-the-point. I could not have asked for a more exemplary ER physician.

PLEASE DO NOT SEE THIS DR!!!!! My mother went to the emergency room in Reston VA- this Dr. was covering for the night shift. He was the worst! He made my mother feel so bad! My mother went there for help —in back pain! All he said was “I’m not a bone doctor!” and that she needed to follow up with her specialist and not to come back to Urgent care center. He made my mom cry! I’ll tell you something DOCTOR-IF YOU DONT LIKE YOUR JOB PLEASEE QUIT AND LOOK FOR ANOTHER PROFESSION! WE THE COMMUNITY DO NOT NEED DOCTORS LIKE YOU SERVING US! Just warning anyone who sees this doctor.

I went to Inova ED in Reston for a migraine that would not respond to treatment and was preventing me from sleeping. It caused me to be extremely dizzy and nauseous which is not typical for MY migraines. I would normally wait until it’s been over 72 hours (status migraine) but this migraine was making me go crazy and I needed relief. I went there looking for a migraine cocktail (literally IV fluids, benedryl, and reglan - not opioids or anything crazy). From the time I told him what was going on and explaining my history, he treated me like a drug seeker. I made it clear I was not looking for a prescription, even after saying that Fioricet is what I am typically prescribed, because I didn’t want him thinking I was there for that. He has absolutely NO empathy or any bedside manner AT ALL. It was a horrible experience and I literally sobbed to my boyfriend and the two nice nurses about how bad he made me feel. Why are you an MD if you don’t care about people?

This doctor does not deserve to be called a doctor. I read in another review he has no empathy. Well I believe it is a worse condition than that. He cares very little about his patients. I went to INOVA emergency on behest of my doctor who feared I was walking around with pneumonia and wanted me to get a chest x-ray. I explained everything to the nurse that I have high blood pressure along with asthma. And all this doctor talked about was COVID. I said let's talk about making me feel better as oppose to your thoughts about COVID. I said, I did not come here for a lecture on COVID. I was instructed by my doctor to get a chest x-ray. Well he was adamant about talking about COVID instead of caring for his patient, so after 10 mins of arguing with him I left. I guess INOVA emergency will want to charge me for a COVID consultation with Dr. Banaszak. Stay away from INOVA in Fairfax if that is the only doctor present.

Do not see Banszak. I had him as my Dr and he had no empathy. He does not care at all about his patients and he does NOT know anything about people’s Health states and recovery. Dr Weir I do recommend seeing but not Banaszak.

Very careless doctor he rushes dosent take time to listen and mis diagnosed me. Stay away from this doctor

Dr. Damian Banaszak was giving me whole medical treatment while i stayed In ER department at Inova fairfax hospital, I really appreciate him and his partner nurses, Joanna and Morgan God bless I m 100% satisfied Thank you again all fairfax hospital ER staffs

Saw Dr Banaszak after a recent visit to INOVA 24 hour emergency care in Reston. Spent time with my dad, explained all options, was very professional, yet kind and caring. Wish he had a practice-we would this Dr to all! Bravo for a still caring ER dr!

Dr. Banaszak is a pleasant and knowledgable doctor. I wish he had a private practice.
