You are in good hands with Dr. Rose! From my first visit to my post op visit, Dr. Rose made me feel at ease. My recovery assures me that he is excellent at what he does!
This doctor scared me, insulted me and was completely pressuring me to have more of a surgical procedure than I needed. I would not send my worst enemy to be his patient. He never told me I had a choice in having the surgery in terms of timeframe, and the surgeon I eventually used, that was the first thing she told me. He was terrible.
Dr. Rose and His staff are excellent. I have been a patient for 18 months, Always on time, courteous and professional...I highly recommend him and his practice
My wife and I both agree, Dr Rose is an amazing Physician and Surgeon. Some of the unfriendly reviews he has received must be a reflection of the patients lack of self esteem. They just don't make em any better than Dr Rose. A true Godsend!
Went to Dr Rose for post menopausal bleeding. I mentioned that I’ve read there may be a correlation to post menopausal bleeding and covid vaccine. He immediately said there was no evidence. Thus could be true but many women are coming forward with the same experience. It was never tested in the pretrials so we will not know if this is a possibility. Dr Rose Immediately tells me we have to do a hysteroscopy and D and C. I already had a biopsy and blood work with my obgyn but he says he needed to go in further to get a clearer look. This is all good. When I told him I had ablation surgery 10 years prior, he was like wait…I must have missed something. Yes you did. You didn’t read the charts. He said the hysterosopy/D&C would not be accurate because of scar tissue from ablation and the only way to do this is a hysterectomy. I’ve had several abdominal surgeries and I knew that a hysterectomy would be very risky. Dr Rose agreed it was very risky. I told him I was scared and he agreed with my concern. As I go to leave, he gives me an order to get covid test and blood work. I was told his scheduling nurse would call me in a few days. I had not heard from her so I called. Got her VM. No call back. Called again and got her VM. No return call. We are going on 3 weeks. I’m assuming he does not want me as a patient since I’m too risky. Couldn’t someone from his team contact me? This is not okay. I’m expecting a bill for this office visit. I’m so angry on how unprofessional he is and his staff. He’s full of himself. Don’t bother going there. If you are risky, you could ruin his reputation. Waste of time.
Dr. Rose was recommended by my doctor as one of the best gynecological oncologists. He is knowledgeable, experienced, and innovative. From the initial consultation and examination, I felt like I was in good hands. Dr. Rose clearly explained my test results and suggested a robotic surgery as the best approach. My recovery, physical and emotional, was immediate. I’m very appreciative of Dr. Rose ...

Upon getting a scan from my GI Doc I got a call saying that I had a 20 cm mass & I needed to see an Obgyn asap.. On Oct 16th, 2020 I went for an apt. I mistakenly assumed Dr. Rose would be discussing the results of the CT scan that my GI doc sent over. I thought the consultation was just an office visit and have my questions answered. Just like the last review, I thought this visit was strictly a consultation. I already had a hysterectomy in 2006 so when he wanted to do a pap smear, I was like what the heck for. I was extremely uncomfortable as there were 4 other people in the room. I SHOULD have gone with my GUT & said NO. I should have run as fast as I could to another office. The office cx my surgery 3 X & blamed the hos. Doc Rose knew before & during surgery that I had kidney issues & never informed me. Now I have to have a renal scan. Very unprofessional & I am filing formal complaints with the board. Go somewhere else.
DO NOT go to this office. There are good & bad things about this office. The only good thing was that the front staff was pleasant. This, however, was the WORST experience of my life. My journey started in May 2020. I was having some issues with having acid breath. I went to a GI doc & did an EDG. It showed that I had a small hiatal hernia & some erosion in my esophagus. I also noticed that even though I worked out 4 to 5 times a week that my pants would not fit very well. I could not really figure out what was going on. In Oct I went to my chiropractor for an adjustment. I said my stomach was still really bothering me. His response was why is your stomach hard like that? This is not normal. Kind of freaked me out. He sent me back to the GI doc. I went & was told to get a CT scan. Upon getting that scan I got a call saying that I had a 20 cm mass & I needed to see an Obgyn asap. I could not remember the name of who I saw so the office recommended Mid Atlantic Gynecologic Oncology and Pelvic Surgery Associates. After I read other reviews, I believe Doc Rose may be a pervert. I SHOULD have gone with my GUT & said NO. I should have run as fast as I could to another office. Turns out I was right. My surgery was scheduled for 11/11. I was informed for what whatever reason that my surgery was changed to 11/18. I got another call from the office saying the hospital changed the surgery date again to 11/20 claiming that the hospital could not put me on at the schedule at the end of the day on the 18th. I had to do another covid test. I got a call from FX hos talking about my surgery for the 23rd. I was like NO it is on the 20th. The hos said it was changed again. I was like the heck is going on. Every time I called the scheduling office I either got the runaround or no response at all. I then received finally received a call from Kiea saying that the hos changed the date again. The hospital informed me that they do not change surgery date that those changes comes from the office. I called KIEA a liar to her face. Once again, I had to do another covid test. I left 2 messages with the office manager to complain about my treatment & I never received a call back. Turns out the 20 cm fibroid grew to another 5 cm because the office waited another month to perform this surgery. I had a FU with Doc Rose on the 4th of Dec. I was having some issues that I wanted to discuss. He barely looked at the scar, but he said looks like it is healing fine. I said I had some issues with breathing. He said I should go to the ER in case there was something wrong. I went to Loudoun Hos. They did a CT scan & there was nothing wrong however, the doc found that my kidneys were compromised. The left one was really bad where it turns out I have thinning of the wall lining. I ended up staying overnight. I met with the Urologist the next day. She asked me what the surgeon told me about my Kidneys. I had no idea what she was talking about. Turns out in the report Doc. Rose removed the Uterine during the surgery & put them back so HE KNEW I had issues with my Kidneys but never ever told me Oct 15th, I had a FU with the Urologist. As we were discussing what the next steps are, she informed me that the chest X-ray that I had done before my surgery also showed that I had issues with my Kidneys. This is TWICE now that Doc. Scott Rose failed to inform me about the Kidney issues that I have. I am filing formal complaints against the doc & the office.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
