Dr. Cherayil administered my epidural for the birth of my second daughter in May 2021. Not only was the epidural placement the most painful part of my childbirth, Dr. Cherayil's bedside manner needs to be checked. After 24hours of unmedicated labor, he enters my birth room making jokes. Through my literal screams and tears (only point during the 40 hours of labor that I screamed/cried) he told me my pain was actually fear. Which is rich coming from a man who presumably has never had an epidural placed during childbirth. Then after the placement, he stuck around asking repeatedly how it was trying to elicit positive feedback from me. Him: "That wasn't all that bad now was it?" Me: (still in tears, curled over my pregnant belly) Actually it's the worst pain I've ever experienced in my 37 yrs of life. Please leave my birthing room if you are done."

Dr Borgschulte, what my assigned dr while staying at INOVE Fairfax. I spent 5 days in the COVID Isolation wing .The hospital was great, and Dr Borgschulte, started out good, but things declined the point I would not recommend. She was in charge of my care, and due to being unemployed due to covid, getting the paperwork (ok a single page form) filled out to sent to unemployment so I would lot loose benefits was like pulling teeth. Furthermore, when Dr Borgschulte finally did fill it out, her staff did not fax it on (I was an invalid at the time) like they said they would. The document was not with my discharge paperwork, and here it is , im two weeks behind in receiving unemployment , and now the Dr refuses to resend the original or fill out a new one. Hey, if her staf didn’t do what they said they did, and she does not care to rectify, that’s a Dr you don’t want to see. I’m reaching out to my primary care, sending hospital records so they can certify the days I was in the hospital, because the hospital certainly does not seem to want to . The unemployment office says that one week requires a Dr signoff, and if not, not only am I now ineligible, but im ineligible for all future weeks as well. Disappointed Patrick
