My husband and I have been going to Dr T for 10 years now - wow, time flies! We lived in Falls Church and then moved to DC in 2013 and we still go to Dr T even though there are Doctors closer to us in DC. We like him and his office that much.He is a great doctor and always detailed and complete with us. He is also adapted telehealth appointments which has made things easier.Also, his nursing team is great - if you are scared of needles - don't be at his office as they are all pro's and you barely, if you even do, feel a thing during blood draws and injections!He and his office are all very LGBT friendly and he is very conscientious of LGBT Health. My husband and I appreciate this and are more than comfortable in coming to his office. I would highly recommend Dr. T and his office for members of the LGBTQ+ community.Just recently, he no longer took our insurance and we switched during open enrollment to continue to be his patients.Dr. T is a great primary care physician and I hope that you and your family would consider him for your internal/primary care

Dr. Theisz is skilled, attentive and thorough. A real throwback to compassionate medicine.

Dr. Theisz was my primary care doctor since my family moved here in 2008 from Kansas until I relocated again to Maui, Hi last year 2019. He is very professional , caring and an excellent doctor. How I wish he is still my primary care physician but due to my relocation, it was not possible. I wish to thank him and his staff especially Ms. Thomasina who has been helpful and attentive whenever I need assistance in prescription requests and appointments.

Dr. Theisz has been my primary care doctor for years. What I love most is he knows his patients. His office doesn’t double book therefore there is very little waiting time moving from the front to an exam room. I never feel rushed, he answers all my questions in a patient, caring manner. He is friendly and has a great since of humor!!!

Great day-of COVID testing. Wasn't even a patient, called at 6:30pm and got an appointment for 7:30pm. Nurse was polite and professional, test was administered outdoors. Stay safe, yall

Dr. Theisz was my primary care physician for over a decade, until I moved out of Virginia. Without a doubt, Dr. Theisz is the most attentive, compassionate and flexible healthcare professional I have ever trusted with my health. He looked after me over the years, through various health challenges, and I never once felt like just another name on the list for him to deal with. I’d say his best quality is his bedside manner/communication. Thank you.

I have been going to Dr. Theisz since 2010, and find him friendly and thorough. Appointments are almost always timely, and when they are not, I know he is dealing with someone who is in more urgent need of care than me. That is how it should be.Dr. Theisz is also active in the community, and is very caring. I would recommend him.

Great bedside manner but as long as you stay within his 5 to 10 minute window for patient care. He is very fast with patients it seems. Wants to get in and out. I fully understand the medical model incentives seeing more patients in less time. But I have also visited plenty of doctors where they can "act" better, and actually make you feel like they have more time. Plus, I love the concept of patient electronic records, but he spends more time entering in info and staring at the screen then looking at the patient. The print out I received was generic and not tailored at all to me. I am glad others have better experiences with him. But I will be looking elsewhere.

Front desk person should really say hi when you approach the desk, everyone seems to complain about that. Otherwise, I really love the doctor, am always able to get an appointment, wait times seem fair and there's always parking. Doctor is also responsive and caring.

Everything is good until you make a suggestion or provide feedback in terms of treatment. As soon as you say, "perhaps this treatment has not been the best" or "could we research a bit more" then Dr Theisz will take it personal and say that you do not appreciate his work. The problem is... he was not right many times when prescribing, many!! But one thing was constant, the bill! Every time he would collect, wether he was right (rarely) or wrong (most of the times)...
