I have been a patient of Virginia Heart for about 20 years and as always I was admitted to see Dr. Rashid with a short wait in the waiting room. The meeting was satisfactory and resulted in a decrease of one of my medications. The cardiologist I usually see is Dr. Antonio Parente and I have been fortunate to be his patient.

Dr. Rashid is my elderly mother's primary physician. My mother unfortunately got Covid-19. We got the result of the test on Christmas Day. I texted on Christmas Day to Dr. Haroon Rashid. He replied almost immediately with what we needed to do! I am so grateful to him because we did not loose precious time and got the prescribed medicine as soon as I could get it. My mother is feeling better now! He saved her by his quick response. He is great doctor with great heart! Thank you Dr. Rashid!

Dr Rashid was very concerned regarding my well being after an ablation for atrial fib. I had a persistent cough that was initially evaluated by my PCP. He contacted me and since the cough had not resolved he wanted to see me for his own evaluation. He did not want to depend on the assessment findings of others. He truly cares.

Not my regular doctor but called me in because he was filling in. He had read my heart monitor results and felt I need an immediate operation for a pacemaker. He was honest and straight forward about the results and made sure all appoints necessary for the operation were arranged. I highly appreciate his pro active response.

His advice and skill saved my life...on several occasions. What else is there to say? Other than he is a real sweetheart. A kind , gentle, thoughtful excellent individual. And a doctor to boot!

I had a-fib and a-flutter. I was very nervous about having the ablation procedure but cardio-versions were not working. Dr. Rashid did not pressure me in any way but patiently explained the condition, the procedure, the chances of success, etc. His confidence gave me confidence and I am most pleased with the results. He is also most caring and concerned about me long after the procedure. I have a heart beat rate app on my iPhone. Dr. Rashid noticed it one day during a visit and expressed an interest in getting weekly updates of my self-monitored heart beat data. I send it to him weekly and he answers my email, sometimes with a comment, very soon after I send the data. I am pretty sure the procedure has worked and I thank Dr. Rashid for giving me back my vitality and a full activity life style!!
