List of Ioana Jucan's Reviews
Very thorough and took the time to explain treatment plan at length. Was very patient with my mom who is hard of hearing.
Highly recommend
I had my first wellness appointment for Wednesday July 25th at 9:00 AM with Ioana Jucan. I showed up early to my appointment and checked in at 8:30 AM. I was taken to the exam room at 9:00 AM exactly. The PA checked my vitals height and weight and informed me that the doctor will be in in a few minutes. At 9:30 the PA returned to apologize that I am still waiting and that it should be just a few more minutes before the doctor comes into the office. I found out that the doctor had not even come into the office all this time. I waited 10 more minutes and then I put my shoes back on. Just as I was ready to leave the exam room, Ioana Jucan came in at 9:40 AM. She did not greet me in any way, had her eyebrows furrowed looking irritated. She did not apologize for her delay. I asked her were you running late. She just said yes. She was not with another patient, just came in late. She asked what brings me in today. I said I'm here for a physical. (Note: she should have already reviewed my paperwork and she should know what I came in for) She then pulled up my information on the computer. She asked if there are any concerns I have. When I began telling her about my current concerns she stopped me in the middle rudely and abruptly and said I can either do a problem visit or a wellness visit. I said I was telling you my concern because you asked. She interrupted again and reiterated that she can do either wellness visit or a problem visit. She said she can refer me to a neurologist for the problem I was beginning to tell her. I told her to do the wellness visit. She asked for my family history. I asked what about it. She said diabetes, cholesterol etc. I said it’s in the medical history form I submitted before I came in for my appointment but sure I can tell you. (Is this the correct SOP at APC? To ask the patient to reiterate information already provided on required forms?) After seeing that my mom has thyroid issue, she noted that for the blood work. She advised me that my weight is a high for my weight and I should watch it and reduce my carb intake because overweight can lead to diabetes and cancer. (I am 125 and 4’10”) She then rushed through checking my reflex, heart and lung. She did not conduct any other checks, not even a breast exam (and here she is advising me to lose weight because it could cause cancer.) The appointment lasted less than 6 minutes. Ioana Jucan may feel and act like she's on a high horse because she's a doctor. However, in my eyes she's a loser who fails at her profession. A doctor’s profession is one of customer service. I am paying to get a service done. She is not doing me a favor or saving my life. She showed up to work late, rushed me out to catch up with her schedule and she has bad manners. Through my insurance I only get one wellness visit per year and unfortunately that wellness visit got wasted because of Ioana Jucan's poor performance. I am extremely disappointed by my experience at Arlington Primary Care.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
