Saw Dr. Duc for his analysis of heart monitor data to determine if implant of a Pacemaker was necessary; I was pleased to hear it wasn't. Dr. Duc is very patient and easy to talk to. The hospital was making preparations for the Pacemaker when he came to my room and said that he and Dr. Rashid had reservations about needing a Pacemaker and said they would like me to wear a heart monitor for a few weeks. I felt like I had been granted a reprieve as I did not want to have another surgery, even one this minor, two days after the TAVR. He called me the morning after I was discharged and told me to take Eliquis instead of aspirin because they were concerned about an Atrial Flutter. He explained the interaction of heart functions following the TAVR procedure and assured me the Atrial Flutter was gone and to resume taking aspirin. To be certain he has scheduled me for another week of wearing a heart monitor in May, followed by a visit with him in June. Highly recommend him.

Dr. Duc performed a cardiac ablation during my pregnancy. Many "top" cardiologists were intimidated by my rare case but Dr. Duc tackled my VTach like a bull. He was confident and his confidence put me at ease. He performed the procedure without radiation; something many of his colleagues weren't able to do. Dr. Duc spoke to me in layman's terms every step of the way. My pregnancy has been stellar and his fearless and professional behavior accompanied with my prayers brought me out of an almost fatal situation. I will never forget Dr. Duc. I am so grateful.

He met with me in September to discuss my SVT and my treatment options, and explained things in ways I, a non-medical person, was able to understand. The procedure went well and I feel fantastic. Dr. Duc's overall demeanor and "bedside manner" made me secure, calm, and relatively anxiety free. I do not hesitate to fully recommend Dr. Duc. He's a very kind and thoughtful man.

I met Dr. Duc for fhe first time 5 minutes before a procedure he was going to do to install a defibrillator ICD in my chest. 41 year old male with cardiac arrest. He took the time to explain the procedure and answer my questions about ICDs and about leads and potential problems with these devices. I'm 2 weeks into having the device and all is good so far.
