Dr. Petro saved my life in October 2019. I didn't know I had been walking around with 4 major blockages (3 in the widowmaker artery) and a 100% in the circumflex. I had no symptoms until about the end of August. It was determine I needed a quadruple bypass surgery. Dr. Petro was so professional and knowledgeable. She and her staff helped qualm my fears and helped me to recover from some minor complications with wound closure in one very small area of the incision. Would definitely recommend her.

Dr. Petro was assigned to perform my mother’s bypass surgery. MANY complications arose and she always kept me informed in caring and compassionate way. SHE IS a great doctor and helped save my mom! Thank you

I had an emergency double CABAG performed at INOVA Fairfax Hospital by Dr Petro and am happy to be alive. My experience with her, short as is was, was professional and no nonsense. Unless my surgery fails at a later date I would recommend her for the cardiac procedure she performed on me.

In early September I didn't know I was dying. I was in profound denial about the significance of my worsening chest pain. Beginning with my primary care physician Sharon Malcolm, then appointments with pulmonologist Leslie Cuiper, cardiologist Minh Van Ngo, and surgeon Kathleen Petro, I was led quickly from denial to an operating room in Inova Fairfax Hospital where Dr. Petro completed triple-bypass open heart surgery on October 3. Throughout the process, Dr. Petro and her staff were terrific.
