Kids Watch Pediatrics & Urgent Care's Online Review Report Card

I had a very disappointing experience at Kids Watch Pediatrics. The service was extremely poor from start to finish. The nurse at the front desk made me feel very uncomfortable and was not welcoming at all. There was no sense of care or professionalism, and it didn’t seem like they valued their patients. Overall, the entire experience was unpleasant, and I would not recommend this place to others.

Quick to see our daughter when we brought her in and very friendly staff. So glad to have this resource so close to our house now.

Si tienes algún problema, los asistentes médicos son muy serviciales y profesionales, y también hacen todo lo posible para ayudarte. Otro beneficio es que hablan español. Tienen médicos diversos y muy amables. El lugar está muy limpio y tiene muchos juguetes para los niños. Entras y sales muy rápido. Muy buena atención primaria y atención de urgencias. Muy eficientes.

I absolutely would not recommend any parent take their child to this urgent care. It is unfortunate because I previously had several great experiences. While the front desk staff was very welcoming, professional, and helpful, I cannot say the same for the NP we saw. My son was diagnosed with a double ear infection 3 days ago and since spiked a fever. We could not get into our regular pediatrician until the next day, so I brought him to KidsWatch. She suggested I "wean him off the antibiotics and let his immune system take over." She also spent the majority of the time schooling me on how I need to be feeding him plant-based prebiotics, no PRObiotics. When I mentioned that I was concerned we may need to escalate his current antibiotic, she said "the only time I ever change an antibiotic is for an anaphylactic reaction." I'm not sure where she received her medical training, but weaning off an antibiotic after 3 days is not an evidence based medical recommendation. Especially when she follows it with "but you know your child the best and if you think he needs antibiotics to get better, then continue." Sorry? I came for your medical advice. Not to be belittled for giving him prescribed antibiotics. Don't worry, he will be fully evaluated by our trusted pediatric provider first thing in the morning. I will be sure to never bring either of my children to your facility again. I pray other children are not harmed by this provider's lack of evidence based practice. The KidsWatch medical director should be ashamed and embarrassed to have this provider on staff. 24 hour update: My son was seen by his pediatrician and found to have continued pus in one ear (Katherine stated this ear “looked really bad”, yet her only advice was to wean him off the antibiotic.) His antibiotic therapy was escalated, after Katherine refused since he was not having an anaphylactic reaction. If I took her advice and let nature take its course, I would be risking a more serious infection, possible permanent hearing loss, speech delay, the list goes on. This is the definition of medical negligence. Parents please please take your children elsewhere.

La clínica pediátrica ofrece un servicio excelente. El personal es muy amable, profesional y siempre atiende con paciencia a los niños. Las instalaciones están limpias y organizadas, y los tiempos de espera son razonables. Recomiendo este lugar a cualquier padre que busque atención de calidad para sus hijos.

I never ever in my two years and half years of being a mother have gone to a urgent care/ pediatric office that was this efficient , patient, friendly and helpful 😭 front the front desk to the nurses everyone was amazing !!

My visit to Kids Watch was exceptional. Cathy's welcoming demeanor and assistance with paperwork were greatly appreciated. Jennifer, the MA, was enthusiastic and efficient in conducting my check-up, creating a friendly atmosphere. Lastly, The provider Rey's. His kindness, support, and thoroughness in addressing my questions and concerns were outstanding. He is among the best providers I've encountered, and I plan to return for future appointments.

I love this place, Cathy is very sweet & helpful makes check in process so easy very thankful!
