Steven K Neufeld's Online Review Report Card

I had a very complicated foot surgery performed by Dr. Neufeld and was enormously impressed by the medical service, the comprehensive visits and assessments, the aftercare, and mostly the success of this surgery. I have rarely been so impressed by a medical practice. Yes, he's not chatty--but he answered any questions I had and his PA spent a long time reviewing the surgery in my pre-op visit. It all went very well and I highly recommend this surgeon.

Dr. Nuefeld was outstanding! I tore my Achilles Tendon and he operated on me and put me back together.. Very nice and professional!

The practice was always busy when I visited, but the staff worked to keep things moving and so you were seen on time and not left waiting. Dr. Neufeld was great for helping me with my broken foot and was understanding and even encouraging of my desire to stay active while I was healing. Hopefully I won't need his services again, but if I do, I will definitely go back!

Horrible surgeon with tons of confidence. Dr. Steven K Neufeld refuses to answer questions about the surgery he’s about to do to my child. He told me “you have to trust me”. REALLY!!!when the patient or the patient’s parents ask you a question you should explain and let them know what you are about to do and how you are going to do it so they feel more comfortable. The end result is constant pain in the foot where the surgery was performed even after eight years have passed. you have to trust him he says!!☹️

Dr. Neufeld is an outstanding surgeon who has operated on both of my feet. The first surgery was to correct a surgery performed by a podiatrist that involved four toes on my right foot. The second surgery was on my left foot to remove a bunion and to repair a hammer toe. The second surgery was performed using minimally invasive techniques on an out-patient basis. Recovery was very quick and uneventful on both surgeries. The pain that I experienced from both feet has been eliminated. Need to give credit to Meghan, a PT person for her work on the bunion/hammer toe. I absolutely love the way my feet look now for the first time in my over 75 years. Thanks so much.

Dr. Neufeld removed a rather annoying bone spur from my left achilles. It has prevented my from running for the last several years. Now, 15 weeks after the surgery, I'm running again -- albeit slowly. But that will change with work. I'm so grateful to Dr. Neufeld for doing such a spectacular job. See you on the roads!

I tore my Achilles very badly over the summer. Didn’t go to a primary care doctor just went straight to the foot and ankle center and saw Dr. Neufeld. He got right to the point and told me what my options were. I elected for surgery rather than a hard cast. He spent time answering all of my questions after I was a little nervous. Surgery went well, was walking in a boot after about 2-3 weeks, I could pretty much walk without my boot 2 months post surgery as well. Only thing I would change was going on a rafting trip right before my surgery because I may have injured my Achilles more than it was from my initial injury. Get the surgery out of the way if you have this injury! Thank you Dr. Neufeld

I had a wonderful experience with Dr. Neufeld and his entire practice. From my very first visit to discuss removing my bunion , I was well informed and confident. The surgery went according to plan and recovery was easier than expected. I highly recommend Dr. Neufeld.

Went to this incompetent hack because my toes were going sideways, due to negligence of podiatrist not being able to fuse big toe on surgery done years before. Neufeld said he could correct the toes going sideways. Instead, he made situation worse and caused toes to OVERLAP. Neufeld butchered my right foot. He also did surgery on my Left foot that had to be redone by another doctor due to the bad hardware he put in. Wish I knew back then what a disaster he is, I wouldn't have ever gone to him.

I wish I had read these reviews previously. My experience with Neufeld was that he was not engaged and did not listen to my description of the problem. I was brief and concise but he was aloof, arrogant, and talked over me. His practice seems to be focused more on revenue generation, not quality health care. My insurance company and I wasted a lot of money here. I went to another practice and they found the problem and fixed it in one office visit at a fraction of the price Neufeld charged for a failed "treatment" of a misdiagnosis caused by his not listening and arrogance.
