Dr. Brenin is fantastic. He goes over all of your treatment options and takes his time. He gives you all the time that you need to answer any questions that you have. He also schedules another appointment before your procedure to make sure that you are okay with the projected treatment and answers any last minute questions. He is also funny and has a great bedside manner.

I was seen for a consult in early 2019 for treatment options for DCIS. Dr. Brenin talked to me as if I were an uneducated child, continued to interrupt me and didn't value my research and thoughts. His interactions with me were unprofessional, condescending and ultimately what he suggested would have caused me to return for a more invasive procedure. I luckily sought a second opinion with another breast surgeon, was very pleased with the results and my prognosis is good. If you wish to have a partnership with a professional surgeon, I would look elsewhere.

I had done my research in advance, and was favoring one treatment option, but he said that option was not recommended. His interaction with me was very unprofessional, and condescending. I would not recommend anyone who wants to have a partnership with their surgeon go to him. Because of this experience, I transferred to another breast surgeon who supported my initial decision, did my surgery, and I have a good prognosis.

Have been seeing Dr. Brenin through my diagnosis and surgery for breast cancer. Kind and caring and knowledgeable. Thank you Dr. Brenin.

Dr. Brenin is an awesome surgeon in my opinion and he leaves no stone unturned when it comes to your treatment. I would highly recommend him.

Dr Brenin may be the Dr who ultimately may save my life, and I have complete trust in him to do so. He is doing everything to help get me there.

The first time I met Dr. he cracked a joke about my cheetah pants. Asking where is the cheetah. LOL! I knew then that he was the right Dr. He took his time explaining everything to me and asked at the end if I had any questions. I did and he answered my questions. He never rushed me, just polite and loving. I can honestly say that God sent me to the right Dr. I found out I had a breast condition one week after I buried my husband. His visits made me feel stress free. The surgery was successful!

Excellent surgeon and great person

Dr. Brenin was an amazing doctor. He, along with his staff were caring,polite and professional. Sadly, several of my friends and family have also been diagnosed with breast cancer & I always suggest tat they see Dr, Brenin. He always took the time to answer questions that he knew I'd have in my notebook. He even started handing the notebook to me at the end of each exam. He always treated my family in the same courteous manner.I would recommend him to anyone facing a breast cancer diagnosis!

Hearing the words "you have cancer" is always terrifying, but Dr. Brenin follows that statement with "..and this is how we are going to treat you." Always willing to give you the time needed to ask questions, sometimes the day gets away and appts are delayed. Anyone who has been 'in his hands' doesn't mind the wait because they, themselves, have been there. Honest and caring. We need more doctors like D. Brenin!
