The reason for the one star is because I felt like she didn't listen to us when we said a certain chemotherapy was doing more bad than good. However, she never gave up on my father. She also would answer any questions we had. Even some that were not in her specialty because there aren't any other good doctors around. She is the best in the area. We found Dr. Witt to get a 2nd opinion on a melanoma procedure. She was very thorough, caring and easy to communicate with. We live in the DC area and getting out of the grist mill of industrialized medicine and finding a pastoral setting in a well loved area, we not only felt at home, but felt confident when her opinion was in sync with the oncologist in Alexandria VA. We clicked with her instantly. I recommend her highly and the staff at the hospital as well.

Dr. Witt I would like to thank you for being so persistant in the care and testing of my father. Because of you, his cancer has been caught in a very early stage. It is doctors like you who are caring and very thorough in what they do that make a difference in the world today. Keep up the great work that you do!

Dr Witt has show great concern and interest in her patients. Not only am I one of her patients, but I know a lot of her other patients. Very rare have I ever heard anything negative about her.

CARING IS PROVIDING HELP TO PATIENTS IF THAT IS YOUR FIELD OR LINE OF WORK....IF IT IS NOT HOW DARE YOU HAVE THE TITLE OF DOCTOR.....WHY GO TO SCHOOL TO BE A DOCTOR IF YOU DON'T TALK OR DECIDE WHAT IS RIGHT, WRONG OR WHY THINGS ARE HAPPENING TO YOUR PATIENTS.
