I have seen Dr. Fore for 10 years and he has been excellent. Highly recommended.

I was a patient for several years. He would routinely forget everything I had said between meetings and it was clear that he didn’t even review my notes before we met. Our meetings NEVER lasted longer than 10 minutes. Not a single time. It’s hard to say anything good about him as a health care worker. Stay far away from him if you need help in any way.

Dr. Fore is incredibly knowledgeable, personable and empathetic. He is super efficient with follow ups but never makes you feel like you’re being rushed. You can tell he really enjoys what he does and takes time to answer any questions. I’m so glad he’s in Central Virginia!

Dr. Fore is a fantastic person and doctor. He listens attentively with an open mind and he always treats me with the utmost respect. He doesn’t always tell me what I want to hear but he always tells me what I “need” to hear. He doesn’t judge me or treat me as an inferior person just because I struggle in certain areas and he always offers me hope and inspiration. He has a desire to “help me help myself” and he shows true compassion towards me. Dr. Fore always treats me with respect even when he doesn’t necessarily agree with me, my behavior or my belief system. He is a very direct person and his honesty may be taken as rude by some because he doesn’t mince words and he confronts me and my BS head on. He consistently maintains a very positive attitude and his impact on me and my life has been positively life changing. I highly recommend Dr. Fore!!!

$100 for 2 minutes and doesn’t help at all. Becomes frustrated if I have a problem and doesn’t offer any help.

Dr. Fore is an exceptional psychiatrist. He always listened closely, asked the important questions, and demonstrated commitment to a level of care that aims to see patients not only survive, but thrive. For anyone facing a lifetime with psychiatric medications, that difference is crucial. I recommend him to everyone, but especially those who've struggled in the past to find a medical professional who demonstrates genuine empathy.

I went to my first visit and thought he was nice, but the first medication he prescribed didn’t agree with me, so after trying it that first week, I called his office to talk to him about it and discuss changing it!! Wrong, the reception lady told me over the phone that, he would never call me back because he was to busy to call people back!! Strike #1 in my Book!! If I’m the patient, then I would think that your doctor can call and discuss this issue!!! But No, like the comments before mine, I truly believe That this is ONLY a money making operation, and He truest Doesn’t Care about Patient Care!! I am appalled that a Psych Doctor doesn’t have give a S*** about his Patient care!! So with that being said, I had to make another appointment after just being there a week before, Again money making, there should be Regulations on this!! So I had my appointment scheduled for 9:15 am this Monday morning, I got there at 9:00 checking in, 2 people waiting as well, so the first people went in and the other lady asked when my appointment was I told her and she said I wonder why they made appointment all at the same time. In the meantime another patient came in, so now it’s three of us waiting . I went to the reception to double check on my appointment time and I was correct, now being 9:30, I asked why did they schedule everyone at the same time and she said oh well Dr. Fore is running behind today and the appointment times are every 15 minutes, so I said okay, reluctantly!! More time passes, he finally takes the next lady. The more I sat there I thought, so if I were late, they would be calling me and charge me if I wasn’t there or on Time but My time and others time is Clearly Not Valuable to Dr. Fore or his staff!! In the meantime again a sales representative comes in, they are all laughing and talking, here we are still waiting!! I looked at the clock it was now 10:00 am!! I had been there for an hour and instead of saying anything or catching up, he then goes to the sales representative!! RUDE RUDE RUDE!!! I then decided that Yes my time is very valuable as well and I left, without saying a word!! I left feeling very disrespected and Not Valued as a patient!!!! Note this as Well, Not one single person called to ask what happened or why I left!!! I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS JOKE OF MENTAL HEALTH SERVICE TO ANYONE!!! Mental Health is a serious issue and should be regarded with the Upmost Care!!!

The care center he was at to begin with took my insurance and then he went out on his own and did not accept my insurance. I followed him anyway because I had not had any problems but I had been stable the entire time before. He now tells me (after our 5 minute sessions that I pay $100 for) that he wishes every patient was like me (had no issues). Well, when I started to have an issue, he was noticeably frustrated that I took over 5 minutes for my $100 session. I have been having panic attacks and my mother had come with me and suggested that I be prescribed Xanax. Well, that was what he prescribed me and later a lot of people had been telling me Ativan was for panic attacks. Well, now if I want him to prescribe me Ativan I have to go pay him $100 again according to the receptionist I called. If he would have cared enough to listen to what I was saying since he is the specialist, he hopefully would have prescribed me Ativan to begin with. I will never be going back to him and I do not recommend him if you actually need help with anything at all. All his hard work was done in college and he could care less now.

The doctor is results oriented--highly recommended.

Why does he have to be so rude? I have never met a more disrespectful doctor in my life!
