List of Thomas Eppes Md's Reviews
Do not go to this practice. They have been downright incompetent with my Dad's healthcare after he has a been a patient there for 40 years. Not only incompetent, but dangerous. It's been one issue after another after another. If you care about your health, go somewhere else.
Dr. Eppes has proven himself to be incompetent and uncaring and appears to have no desire to be a good physician or decent person. Perhaps it’s time to retire, or perhaps his heart was never one of a healer or caregiver.

I have been a patient of Dr. Eppes for over 35 years. In his younger years, he listened and cared about the patient's concerns. Over time, he became less interested in the patient and more interested in promoting his own agenda. He spends more time typing in his computer than listening and tends to argue when someone disagrees with him, even if they provide solid evidence. He needs to understand that the patient is the one experiencing symptoms and their words are worth hearing. It is past time for him to retire! Giving him one star may be too high.
thorough and caring
I’ve had cough and sinus issues for months. Only way I could see dr at CVFP was to do virtual visit with Dr Eppes. After being asked few questions by his nurse and listening to him talk for for 20 min, he tells me I have asthma. Remember this is a virtual visit. No exam. He wants me to come in after 2 weeks. He prescribes 3 medication specifically for asthma. I find after having them all filled they all have a lot of side effects. I only take one, a steroid and suffer the side effects. No relief from sinus issues. After a week of this, I see a specialist. NOT asthma, sinus infection. I wondered from beginning how asthma is diagnosed looking at someone on computer screen. Consistently Dr Eppes has tried to over prescribe medication with me. This was the last straw!
Dr.Eppes and all the rest of the Doctors at the CVFP Forest location are absolutely amazing! My whole family goes there and they listen to you and find different solutions to every problem. I used to work there and it was definitely like one big family and we knew that the doctors cared for their patients and their workers! It is an amazing office and I couldn't dream of going anywhere else!
Like most physicians, a poor listener. Said I could not tolerate statins, and he kept saying do this or do that. Plus looked up info on statins and they do not extend you life, but only a few days.
While introducing himself he bent to pick up a dropped cotton swab, and loudly farted. Then he laughed and did not apologize. How rude.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
