Cynthia Wilkes's Online Review Report Card

Dr. Wilkes is an awesome doctor with excellent bedside manners and she is very compassionate. I love her from bottom of my heart. I develop polyps in my cervix area and she removes them. She always take special care of me and makes me feel very comfortable during the entire process. Thank you Thank you Dr. Wilkes.

I had suffered in excruciating abdominal pain for four months. I had been to the ER 9 times. The ER ran CTs and an MRI and all results were normal, to include blood work. My Primary Care Physician requested an X-Ray and the results were normal. I saw my gastroenterologist and had every test related to the bowels and they were normal. I saw a general surgeon who recommended I see a neurologist. I was at my wits end. I had surgery for a prolapsed bladder a year ago. All of the aforementioned doctors were aware of this. I scheduled an appointment with Dr. Wilkes and explained my desperation. She was so compassionate and caring. She immediately put me in the hospital. She said that no one had run any tests on my pelvic area. She ran a pelvic X-Ray that showed nothing. The next morning she came into my hospital room and gave me three options. She could go into my pelvic area laparoscopically but would have to immediately stop the procedure if she came across mesh because that requires a different doctor specialty. I could see of the specialists or I could go back to the doctor that performed the bladder surgery. I told her that I would go back to the doctor that did the bladder surgery. I scheduled an appointment, he scheduled and performed laparoscopic surgery and found adhesions in my lower left pelvic and removed the scar tissue. I am fine today and pain free thanks to Dr. Wilkes and her knowledge and experience. I can’t say enough about her and highly recommend her!

Dr Wilkes is compassionate and personable. She always answers all of my questions in a manner that is easy to understand and takes the time to explain everything. Highly recommend this practice and Dr Wilkes.

Based on my previous experience with Dr Wilkes I would never recommend her to my family or friends. Her attitude and lack of compassion really ruined my first birth experience. Not only did she rush my birth, but she also went against my wishes of not vacuuming my child during labor. She didn’t speak much during labor and was extremely rude to family members stating to not take her picture. I had never met her prior to the delivery and would never wish this poor experience on any new mother.

She is an outstanding Doctor! I absolutely love Dr Wilkes and her bedside manner. I wish more doctors went out of their way to make you feel so comfortable. I'm so nervous around Drs in general but she really is a true professional. I can't wait till she delivers my baby girl.

She saved my life. After being hospitalized for 5 days, having gallbladder removed, the problem was still there. I was told by surgeon to see a GYN. I was hooked up with Dr. Wilkes and she examined and sent me for an MRI (which the surgeon refused to do) and the true problem was found. Calcified Fibroid, ruptured colon and 3 abscesses in the abdomen. She instructed me to immediately go to the emergency room and that she was calling ahead. When I got there, everybody was waiting for me. Granted she didn't fix the problem was not her area, however she found it. If not for her I don't think the outcome would have been so well. She also just came in to see me and say "HI" and make sure all was going well. Can't thank her enough.

I think she is the best gynecologist in the area. My daughter had a serious problem that required emergency surgery. She was EXCELLENT, she helped explain everything and we are so happy she is here . I've seen her too and there was no wait and she took her time and was very professional but kind. We love her!

Experience was good but be aware if you ask her a question you will be billed an extraordinary amount of money. I went in for my pap, she asked if I was on birth control and I said we were trying to conceive. That led her into questions of how long have we been trying, ect., $280 extra for that talk. So it's noted to not say and or ask her anything unless you wanna pay. I could have went on the computer for free!
