Danielle A Holmes's Online Review Report Card

Dr. Danielle Holmes saved my life. I was told by the ER that I had a miscarriage and to follow up with an OBGYN. I called Mary Washington Health Care and was scheduled with Dr. Danelle Holmes. My first visit Danielle and I talked about what was going on with me and the pregnancy. We also talked about pre-existing health issues. She made it her business to find out everything she could about my health. While I have accepted the diagnosed miscarriage from the ER, Danielle wasn't so sure. She wanted me to take some blood test to see where my HCG levels were. She explained the possibility of it may be an ectopic pregnancy. Although Danielle was very thorough, I just didn't believe I was having an ectopic pregnancy. To make a long story short, my HCG levels kept rising and I indeed was having an ectopic pregnancy. This women went above and beyond with her communication with me. She explained what was going on step by step. Danielle educated me in-depth of how she was going to treat the ectopic pregnancy. After two long months of resolving the pregnancy, I am alive back to normal and feeling very blessed to have such a smart caring OBGYN to have lead me through what was the most stressful experience of my life. Danielle Holmes is a kind, humble, caring, intelligent, Doctor that made me feel as comfortable as a sister. Thank you Dr. Danielle Homes for saving my life. After being dropped without notice by another local OB due to missed appointments because of Covid I was in search of a new OB in the area while around 26 weeks pregnant. Other local OBs didn't want to see me as I'm a high risk pregnancy for several reasons (high BP, GD, BMI, close pregnancies). I stumbled across Dr. Holmes and it was my last hope before having to make the drive to VCU in Richmond. I've seen her a few times now and I absolutely love this practice! She is always very thorough and kind, answers all of my questions or concerns, I've never felt rushed or judged, and I've yet to have to wait past my appointment time to be seen. They work in correlation with the MFM right across the hall and it's super convenient. I start rotating to see the other doctors in the practice this week but I would highly recommend Dr. Holmes and this practice to anybody looking for OB care!

Dr. Holmes is a great doctor. She had been my OBGYN since 2014. Although she did not end up delivering my babies, she was my favorite OB during my pregnancies. She has an excellent bedside manner and takes the time to get to know her patients. I was extremely saddened to learn she left Capital Women's Care. I am not sure where she has landed as her former practice will not provide even her former patients with this information.

Dr. Holmes is an excellent doctor. She delivered my baby girl in 2019 and we would like to have her as our OBGYN for the next baby. I'd like to know where she landed after leaving Cap. Women's Care, if possible. If anyone knows, please share!

I have the same questions! I am looking for where Dr. Holmes went when she left Cap. Women Care. They dodged my question when I asked where she went. If anyone knows please post- she is wonderful OBGYN!

Kind, thorough, & compassionate.

Dr. Cobbs pushes Hormonal Birth Control (BC) as a catch all "cure" for all issues even those requiring much more investigation and a Specialists treatment. She is also not knowledgeable on Endometriosis or Adenomyosis and does not listen to the patient when they are expressing every symptom of these diseases. If you are experiencing abnormal periods please do not let her convince you to just take BC, this will only mask your symptoms and cause you bigger issues down the road possibly even infertility if left unaddressed. Also, extremely upsetting is that in this office they use a lubricant during exams which has parabans in it. Parabans are known endocrine disruptors linked to fertility and hormone issues even Endometriosis and PCOS (Studies can be found on the US National Library of Medicine National Institutes of Health website PubMed) Please go find a gynecologist who is genuinely caring enough to listen to your issues and has the knowledge and experience to IDENTIFY & treat them.

Dr. Holmes is absolutely wonderful. She is compassionate, thorough, and knowledgable...everything you want in an Ob/Gyn.

Dr.holmes is wonderful at her job . She makes you feel very comfortable and make sure your an priority and health is 100% she is the best doctor ever !!!!!!!!!!!
