Dawn R Alexander's Online Review Report Card

I saw Dr. Alexander many times after a long illness. She gave me advice, gave me new medications that fixed my issues. She is kind, smart. thoughtful and I recommended her to members of my family who also love her. I would highly recommend Dr. Alexander to anyone who needs to have a smart doctor whose focus is on the patient and fixing their medical issues.

As a new patient I found Dr. Alexander to be caring, compassionate, understanding, attentive, thorough, and proactive. I feel assured she wants to find the best way to help me with my symptoms and condition.

Nice enough, but one has to be comfortable with the doctor and the practice. I won't be returning as I was told to call my insurance company and ask what meds are covered with FEP Blue. I have never had to do this with any other doctors. Just not a good fit for me.

Dr. Alexander allowed me time to fully explain the various potential symptoms that I had been experiencing. She spoke to me about several factors that could be going on without leading me on or causing anxiety. She further discussed medications and non-medication alternatives. I felt completely comfortable with her and did not feel rushed or dismissed in any way. I had been looking for a PCM for quite some time and it has not been an easy task... I believe that she is what I was looking for.

My Mom has ALZ. Dr Alexander KNOWS this. She refused treatment until my mom had a psychiatric evaluation. My mom left Dr. Alexander's office and had a heart attack the next day. What type of doctor refuses to treat a patient she KNOWS is sick???

My wife and I have been patients of Dr. Alexander for over a year. She has been professional and thorough, and has a friendly, warm demeanor. Great quality care.

My MIL is a patient with Dr. Dawn Alexander and I have to say, the care she receives is absolutely unacceptable. Thank goodness my MIL will be changing PCMs due to her new insurance and we’ll be able to find someone else. I have to say though, care and compassion go A LONG WAY and when you don’t show that towards others, it reflects upon you, which in turn WILL reflect on your business (that’s just how businesses work and operate). You can’t expect people to understand you if you’re unwilling to try and understand others. I really hope that this business figures that out and can grow— not only professionally, but as human beings themselves.

Didn't seem knowledgeable in hardly anything, hadn't even heard about many of the things I brought up. I brought up two things that were never even addressed. She didn't do any proper good-bye. I had to ask if I was done when I saw her in the hallway, to which she still didn't say good-bye, so I told her goodbye myself. I wasn't sure I was done because I felt like the time spent was so short and she gave no real attention. It's like her mind was somewhere else. Not seeing her again.

Caring, thorough, listens carefully, thoughtful, and a wonderful support staff brought me back to enjoy good health even though I am a diabetic recovering from kidney cancer. I would highly recommend Dr. Alexander without reservation. I see her at her Chatham Square office.
