My family loves Dr. Gamache, the twin front desk ladies, nurses and lab tech. Three generations of us have Dr. Gamache & staff caring for us, guiding us to specialists when needed. I am never rushed when there, but also know to come with patience because sometimes the wait is a bit longer than normal bc they LISTEN to their patients. I love how antibiotics are not just prescribed when not needed & how alternative methods of healing are not shunned away when mentioned by me- I don’t feel out of place wanting to take this or that specific herb or tincture but Dr. Gamache will say clearly when more conventional medicine or treatment is needed and take the time to discuss my concerns. My Mother (who has been going here for maybe 20 years) daughter & Son both share my sentiments of care here. Even though my grown daughter moved away from town & has a different Primary Doc, Dr. Gamache still asks about her. The front desk ladies are sweet, funny and serious about their work & about getting people in and out- but are not rude or pushy as some reviews have said. My family has been very happy with the care and consideration we receive from this practice. 🙂

The PA was friendly but not equipped to handle issues that were of the most concern. The lab work was done rudely and dismissively, to the point where my comments and questions were ignored. I recommend Dr. Gamache, but patients should know ahead of time when scheduling whether they actually get to see her. It would be nice to have an email contact for the physician directly as opposed to publicly ...

Dr. Gamache has been our family doctor for over 20 years. Her attention to detail and the ability to truly listen to her patients is an intricate part of the quality care she provides. She is great at discussing options without overwhelming you with a complicated treatment plan.

Office staff and nursing staff present a professional demeanor along with being caring and compassionate. When you meet Doctor Gamache you see why her staff operates in the manner they do. She is caring, compassionate, thoughtful, and attentive. Doctor Gamache encourages patients to participate in their Plan of Care and to speak up about treatment paths. She also brings third year UVA medical students into the practice to learn and experience the atmosphere and environment of a Family Medicine practice. Based on being a patient of 20 plus years, I feel very confident in recommending Lee’s Hill Family Physicians and Doctor Gamache.
