Julie Floyd's Online Review Report Card

EDIT: I have been diagnosed with brain tumors, and dealing with getting referrals through this doctor has been worse than the actual tumors themselves. Of course, lots of referrals are required to get my surgery set up, and they have somehow managed to mess up or just not send every single one, causing me to get turned away from multiple appointments and delaying my surgery. They still somehow have my diagnosis wrong, and this last referral managed to have both the referring doctor and the doctor it's going to wrong. I don't even know how it's possible to be so irresponsible as a doctor. Will be getting a new one ASAP I have been going to see her for many years because my family did, and it is a bad experience every time I try to contact her. Her staff is horribly rude every single time, and it is impossible to get important prescriptions in a timely manner. Recently, when told that I could not go in because of preexisting health conditions that make it extremely dangerous for me to leave home with COVID going on, I am given the runaround, told by her rude staff that Dr. Floyd herself said that I need to go in or they refuse to refill birth control even though they had previously promised that they would continue to until COVID was over. When I ask about virtual appointments they say, “We don’t do virtual Pap smears” sarcastically and say I have to go in and risk my health or deal with no medication. Talking to my GYN, thank god, they were infinitely more understanding and professional.

Dr. Floyd is knowledgeable, compassionate and very proactive with patient care. I have been a patient of hers for over ten years. The staff at Rappahannock Physicians is also top notch.

I called and they told me not accepting new patients which I was referred by the hospital but on their website states accepting new patients They need to update website and also inform hospital disorganized??

Dr Julie Floyd has been my son's doctor for 7 years. She has always been very pleasant, professional and informative with her explanations. She takes the time to answer all of our questions and we never felt rushed. She is also a very pleasant and down to earth person. I would highly reccommend her.

Dr. Floyd was my doctor for a couple of years before I switched to one of her associates. She is rather cold and not particularly easy to talk to. She always called me by a nickname that I never allow anyone to use and that I abhor. Even when I would restate my name for her. I always felt rushed and unimportant.

I have been with Dr. Floyd's practice for many years and have found her to be one of the most pleasant, professional physicians in the industry. In today's health care environment, patients often feel as if they are being rushed out of the clinic and don't have a "vote" in their care. Dr. Floyd is, however, that rare compassionate practitioner who honestly cares about her patients, and takes time to listen and customize her treatment plans. I highly recommend Dr. Floyd to everyone!
