List of National Spine & Pain Centers Fredericksburg's Reviews
I have received good care from Dr S and the PA , Michael. Admin, however , laughed at the fact that there was no appointment available until a month out and “ it’s not that far away”. Pain affect’s quality of life but let’s laugh and joke about it. She did offer that I can call every day to see if they can squeeze me in on a cancellation. I’ve dealt with other Doctors and practices that call YOU if there’s an opening.
The atención in this place is awful!
Terrible unprofessional Mr Williams is a terrible NP They discharge me after receiving injections in my spine with lidocaine 2 Days later their reason is because I slid a note to the receptionist to cancel an appointment Mr Williams communicated to me while going over my MRI results that that was rude and not tolerated all I did was slip her a note I really needed the doctor because I had some bad side effects from the injections but after that inappropriate discharge I went to the emergency room instead the front desk is so unorganized they have an attitude problem and they treat you like criminals I feel they think most customers are addicted to the opioids I was only receiving injections the manager of the office she's Petty and very unprofessional it's a mess don't bother to invest your time and health to them
I have been trying to call the office over several days/weeks to change my appointment, but they never pick up the phone, or they will call back and hang up on me. It's been impossible to reach them so how can they serve me and treat my pain, it they will not answer the phone
Better tv channel is all
I consider these professionals among my trusted friends. Their care & keeping of my health is of the finest quality and I am grateful. Thank you
My mother is an 87 y.o patient who was prescribed oxycodone 4 times a day for severe arthritis in her shoulder and neck. She had side effects from the oxycodone that made her dizzy and impaired. She only took the oxycodone at night occasionally when the pain was excessive otherwise she would take tramadol during the day if needed. She is very careful to only take the opioids when absolutely necessary. She is extremely fearful of falling. This violated the pain contract because she took less and was discharged by the practitioner. Firing an elderly patient from a pain clinic for underutilization raises specific ethical questions: Vulnerability: At 87, a patient is particularly vulnerable. Dismissal from a pain clinic can result in abrupt cessation of medication, which is a significant risk factor for withdrawal, suicide, and overdose, especially if the patient seeks medication from illicit sources. Abrupt termination is strongly advised against by health organizations, including the FDA and CDC. Respect for autonomy: A patient has a right to decide their own course of treatment, including the degree of pain relief desired. Taking less medication than prescribed may be a conscious choice due to concerns about side effects or a fear of dependence. The clinic's rigid enforcement of the contract, without considering the patient's individual goals, disregards their autonomy. Individualized care: The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) guidelines emphasize patient-centered approaches and individualized care rather than one-size-fits-all policies. An 87-year-old patient may need a lower dosage due to age-related changes in metabolism. Dismissal for taking less is contrary to the principle of tailoring treatment to a patient's unique needs. Discrimination: Denying or limiting pain medication based solely on age or a strict interpretation of a contract can be discriminatory and is a violation of the principle of justice.
Accusatory, non caring, procedure room is dirty, improper billing , going to VSI
Wonderful office staff. Alex is the "best". She's VERY knowledgeable and "actually" listens and tries her "best" to figure out how to help relieve some of the pain.
All I can say is the administrative side of this place is a complete mess. The people handling scheduling, whether it’s the receptionists or someone else, should seriously be replaced. I called seven different times and was left on hold for 20–30 minutes each time. When you finally call back, they act like it’s completely normal to forget someone was even on hold. And when you do finally get through to someone, good luck getting them to actually do their job, whether that’s scheduling an appointment, looking into an issue, or just answering a simple question. It honestly feels like you’re bothering them just by expecting them to work. Avoid this place at all costs if you can. The customer service is absolutely terrible. I fully understand it’s hard working in customer service. But never once was I rude or outspoken. I simply wanted to schedule an appointment after a referral. If it’s that tough for them someone should be fired or do us all a favor and quit and go do something else. Absolutely terrible! If you value your sanity stay away from this garbage.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
