Dr. Foster really takes the time to sit down and listen to what is going on. He doesn’t blow you off, answers questions, and really looks at the whole picture to understand what is going on. He is responsive to questions and his staff will also follow up. His office staff is also wonderful and friendly.

Dr. Fosters staff was running a few minutes behind, which they told me at checkin. They even offered to do a telehealth appointment after my ekg if I wanted to head back home. In truth, the 30-45 mins late was actually less than 15 minutes behind schedule and by the time my ekg was done, he was ready to see me. He also really took his time and explained everything (even though I knew they were behind schedule). He read through all my past reports and answered questions. Friendly, professional, and knowledgeable about my condition.

Knowledgeable, professional, and dedicated to his patients, Dr Foster is truly a fantastic cardiologist. My elderly mother is hard of hearing and not interested in discussing the details of her care, so Dr Foster calls me after each of her visits. We regularly talk about her health, medications, potential treatment plans, and issues of relevance that are being handled by other doctors. He never makes me feel rushed, and he always has time for us. Truly a rare and comforting thing in this age of modern medicine. I recommend him without reservation to anyone looking for a cardiologist.

Dr Foster does not respond to his patients as needed. He ignores worsening symptoms of heart failure. He does not refill medications needed for survival in a timely manner leaving his patients with no medication. He always blames others for his negligence too.

Dr Foster is a very caring and professional doctor. He took the time and put my mind at ease by doing a heart catheterization on me which came back negative. I can now rule out the heart completely. His team at Mary Washington Cardio Catheterization Lab did an outstanding job as well Thanks Dr. Foster for taking care of me.
