List of Myung Choi's Reviews
Absolutely an exceptional service. Doctor Choi is so professional and caring. 100% recommend.
Despite liking Dr Choi and believing him to be a good enterologist, I had a very bad experience at Gastroenterology Associates in Gainesville, VA. After my routine colonoscopy I developed a painful hemorrhoid. While he could have mentioned it as a possible outcome, all we discussed was the minute chance of puncturing my colon. Not that I might have the first hemorrhoid of my life. When I tried to schedule a follow up, his staff told me he could only see me a month later. They were definitely on to the next customer. After some persistence they agreed to squeeze me in. Then while waiting for him to enter I could hear the nurses laughing about my condition with him. “I wouldn’t want your job! Ha ha ha.” And “you should just push it back in, ha ha ha.” It was shockingly unprofessional. I’d expect that in a high school not a medical office. I told him I’d heard them through the door and he apologized, but he didn’t stop it. No apology yet from the nurses. I think you can do better.

Dr. Choi is an amazing and highly professional doctor who really listens to your needs and does his best to make sure you are cared for. I highly recommend!!!
Dr. Choi treated me terribly and I will be actively telling my friends to avoid this practice and physician.
Articulate. Super intelligent. Instills confidence. Personable & professional.
It is the type of Doctor that is friendly and relaxes the patient quickly. I wish he had better tools to better educate his patients - this is an issue of the facility not Doctor. The day of the procedure is pretty standard and Dr. Choi is professional. It is not a comfortable procedure, however, Dr. Choi makes it easy - from start to finish - when he communicates the outcome. The facility however, could improve the patient portal!!! It's 21st century people, not 1950s. Thank you Dr. Choi.
Dr. Choi is very easygoing and friendly. He answers all questions and really listens to the symptoms/issues you are having. Overall an outstanding experience. I will definitely recommend him.
He was amazing. Not many people know how hard it is to work in the medical field and still seem calm to patients. He does an amazing job with patient care and making the patient feel comfortable. As being in the medical field myself, I would highly recommend Dr. Choi!
I wish you guys ran blood work. I had a difficult time coordinating with conducting blood work with Dr. Berry my OB. The follow up is not Dr. Choi, he's amazing physician.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
