Peter Breslin's Online Review Report Card

First of all, let me say that I owe my life to a lot of good people, and Dr. Breslin and his associates are some of those people. Not only have they done their jobs to the fullest and even beyond, offering kind words and hope, but they have dealt with me being a forgetful mess, not in a sober program so terribly re-organizing my time at the beggining... (still sober) and never have once complained to me. I missed my appointments almost every single week, and they would make sure to get me in even though they didn't have to, and always make sure that they did everything they could to help me help myself stay clean. Perspective is everything, and sometimes it's just a bad opinion. Other times, it's the strength and honesty to admit when your wrong and look inward to realize what excuses and walls your throwing up to be able to continue to use. There is one truth that is evident regardless of others, and that is that this office provides a great service. Without it, many of us would no longer be here. Thank you all.

I’ll start with the positive- I was able to get seen pretty quickly; the rest, however, has left much to be desired. The admin staff (manager included) is less than friendly, condescending, and lack business professionalism; especially in the mental health realm. I was only seen by the doctor once but have had several interactions with his supporting staff, majority of which left me feeling rushed and not valued as Dr. Breslin’s patient. My brief interaction with Dr. Breslin was neutral; though my experiences with the staff have caused me to reconsider my provider choice.

Dr Breslin and Dr Hembrick, as well as the rest of the staff, are amazing! They are caring, understanding, and solution-oriented. They have saved my life….literally. Please don’t waste another minute, go see them!!

Terrible. Completely detached. Knew nothing about treating BPD with episodes of psychosis. No real ability to context with his patients; he seems more invested in extolling his credentials and expertise than listening to patients. Knows surprisingly little about psychotropic medications. An odd person with minimal social skills. Would not recommend.

Dr Breslin and his staff are amazing. They were there to help quickly and completely. Having a doctor and staff that understand what was going on was exactly what I needed. Even when Dr Breslin wasn’t available I was able to see one of his other medical team. Usually I am hesitant to do so but they were amazing also.

Horrible experience. My first visit he assured me that we could taper off a medication i’ve been prescribed slowly and as tolerated. Upon multiple sessions i realized this was not the case and he would push me to taper too fast at an uncomfortable, intolerable level. Refused to listen. Laughed when i explained what my primary care physician had suggested to help with my unbearable levels of anxiety and panic and upset me more & more with each call. Constantly discounted any other opinions whether they came from a pharmacist or other doctor / my therapist. The level of arrogance was astounding. Would never recommend this dr to anyone.

His office also charged me an incorrect co pay (double what i would owe) and my insurance is the one who notified me. Would never recommend this dr to anyone.

On a Saturday, the pharmacist called him to verify my prescription (cause he states he couldn't recognize the signature) after I paid $250 for the doctor's visit, and Dr. Breslin's office strangely turned it down. He was okay with me suffering through with drawl for that whole weekend. Luckily I got it filled at another pharmacy that same day, without the unnecessary hang up

Kind, understanding, patient. Genuinely wants to help. I can tell him anything and never feel judged. Don’t try to manipulate him though if you’re looking for drugs; you’ll waste your time and his. He can see through you if you are insincere. He is a wonderful man and doctor. Love you Doc. Breslin!!
